here i go…

so i’ve decided to start a blog. partly out of peer pressure (“everyone’s doing it”), and mostly as a motivator. i figure i have so many goals, daily goals and life goals, that if i put some of them out there i’d be more accountable to attempting to reach them. hence my title “imperfection”. i love to start projects. i rarely finish projects. i have high standards for parenting. i rarely meet my own standards. maybe now i’ll be motivated to fulfill my own goals. let’s see how long this’ll last…

So my wife tells me tonight as she is going to bed that she started a blog. (We have kinda made fun of the whole blog thing for a while!) She then proceeds to tell me that I ought to start one and call it “priorities”. I said, Oh yeah! She says, yep, for instance-Sleep or Work. Well, that pretty much sums it up around here lately. She goes to sleep with the kids and I work around the clock. One of these days I may have “spare time” to be a blogger? For now, back to work. Have fun in blogger land!!!!

Well Lindsey I am most pleased that you succumbed to the peer pressure to start a blog! (I also always used to make fun of how people had websites–but I like having a blog, and I love reading my friends’ blogs!)

I’ve decided that blogs are fun. They are a great way to know what’s going on in your friends’ lives, comment, offer up encouragement, etc. It’s like the long telephone conversations we never have the time for. This way, we can all catch up and respond when each person has the time to do so! I’m jazzed you’ve started a blog, gives me another one to read!

This is so fun! I’m happy to see you in blogger land! Funny, I decided to start a blog too. It was at least partly our conversation on Monday night that got me motivated to go ahead and do it.

LOVE your first post. It’s been four years and you still sound exactly the same. Now I’m obsessed with your archives! Thanks A LOT :)

My favorite notebook design in your shop is apple green with chevron stripes. I own a covered notebook, and LOVE it!! I use it as a prayer journal. :)
