polaroid photos

i’ve had a number of you ask about how i made my new pictures at the top of my blog. i use picasa to edit and store all of my pictures, and they have a collage feature that i used. but you can still do this even if you don’t use picasa. there’s a website that allows you to do the same thing: http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/hockney.php

hope that helps! now, can anyone tell me how to size my picture to fit in it’s box?

I tried out picasa and loved it! The polaroid collage is so fun. I love that when I download to my hard drive and click on picasa and it automatically reads all the new pictures from the various folders. Thanks for sharing!

Obviously, Photoshop is the best image editing tool out there, but if you don’t want to spend the money and prefer something around the price range of free, then I suggest a free, open-source image editor like Gimp (http://www.gimp.org/).

I use it on one of my computers and it works for alot of the simple stuff. I don’t know if it’s not as intuitive as Photoshop is, or if I’m just used to Photoshop – but either way, editing image sizes or cropping and stuff like that is pretty straight-forward.

Here’s a cheater way to size photos. I download them into snapfish and they resize them for you automatically. Then I drag it back onto my desktop. You can also add borders and do some fun stuff.

Hey Linds…..I learned how to change the size on the header picture by going to help in BLOGGER and typing in header picture sizing. It walks you through the steps. Hope that helps…..now if I just had a mac!!
