another bouncing baby boy!

we had a shower today for a sweet friend, julie, who is due soon to have her fourth child and 3rd boy! her sister-in-law and i collaborated on this one – so fun! susie made these great invites by scanning fabric. they turned out great.

the inspiration for this shower was this tutorial for baby balls from this blog.

here’s the topiaries again, but with a ribbon switch. sneaky, huh?

the napkins were tied with fabric scraps leftover from the balls.

thank you, joy, for making these delicious cupcakes with fondant marbles, and for coordinating all the food!

here’s the glowing mama! isn’t she adorable?

I’m so sorry I missed it! I honestly thought I’d be able to go, then still be ready to throw a Star Wars birthday party for my 6-year-old and, oh, 15 of his closest friends. On a rainy day. Needless to say, I couldn’t do both. Adorable decorations, beautiful mama-to-be.
