my parents were here this weekend (so much fun – more on that soon), and they are always so helpful in getting projects done (remember the potting bench?). anywho, this weekend’s project was to go through all the paint cans we’ve had sitting in what i call our junkyard (the side of our house where all the extra building materials have been tossed and not touched for a year and a half). there were probably 40 or so cans, 5 gallon, 1 gallon, and quarts.
we got some new clean cans, since the old ones were so rusted we had no idea what paint was inside. we filled up the new ones and marked them with swatches and labeled them. much better!
here’s where the give away comes in (locals only – sorry!): we have lots of extra paint. i can’t and don’t want to throw it away. i have about a gallon of a great dusty turquoise i used in silas’ room (this link is to some before and after pics. the color i’m giving away is in the after pics), and about 2-3 gallons of a celery green we have in our playroom and guest bath. then i also have lots of quarts of misc colors that we’ve used all throughout our house. so if you want to repaint a room or just have some extra paint on hand for fun projects, like repainting a coffee table or dresser, let me know and you can come pick it up!
