well…. not exactly, but there’s hope! the playroom storage installation has been a slow process being that our job is the least priority. but its almost done!

here is the playroom wall, cleared and ready to go:

and here is what the rest of the playroom looked like up until a few hours ago. a very dangerous place to play, although that didn’t stop my girls!

organization in process: this is the part i enjoy, finding a home for everything. i have a very long way to go, but its a start. eventually there’ll be retractable doors to close the puny tv in.

i thought the right side would be used for craft storage and the left for office storage, but after going through my fabric i realized that i needed the left side entirely for sewing purposes, and the left side will be for all other crafts and office supplies. here’s an organized look at my scraps:

this area still needs a lot of work, but i’m on my way to organizing and folding all my fabrics:

    how nice to have a playroom AND craft room all in one! my studio is too small for the littles to play in there with me. but the boy loves the jumpy in the doorway! i love your scrap storage too! you have a lot of inspiring projects on your blog! i love it! :)

    annie – i got those old wire locker baskets at a flea market… for about $6 a piece! they sell in stores for over $20! i have seen lots of reproductions – check out
