one of our many projects this weekend was to make the girls their matching easter skirts. i’ve had this pattern hanging in front of me at my sewing desk for months now, but just didn’t have the motivation to start it. it’s called the girly skirt, by pink fig.
each skirt took a little longer than the hour the directions said, but it still was really easy. i will definitely be making this skirt again. and it hangs so great, and is super twirly, which the girls love.
the fabric on the hem and the waistband is from a clearance sheet set from target, and the main body fabric is iota by robert kaufman. i wasn’t crazy about the main fabric at first, but it grows on me every time i see it. it has a funky bohemian feel to me.
