bend: day four.

today was actually pretty boring, at least for blogging purposes. i loved it, though. totally mellow, catching up on blog reading, sewing tea towels, eating way too much of nicole’s yummy food – i’m competing with her for biggest belly (she’s 8 months pregnant) – its a close race.

so instead of showing pics of us lounging all day in jammies, i thought i’d take advantage of the daylight and snap a few pics for you of nicole’s beautiful home. you’ve already seen lots of her house (here, here, here, here, here, here, and here) but i thought i would show you just a bit more.

how sweet are these house numbers?!

i *love* this idea for holding magazines

she just has so much eye candy sitting around

her bath cab was actually a little table she picked up from pier one and had painted in this beautiful finish.
the square potty

silas had a little too much fun at the itty bitty sink – he decided to plug the drain and let it overflow all the way out the door! who left that boy unattended?!

the best color

doors to the pantry – love the chalkboard paint. i think i see another project in my future…

sweet vintage chalkboard in the playroom

i’ve scrounged up a few quarters for these babies

the dream stove, and an amazing tea towel

letters above the stove – i wonder if those will fit in my suitcase?

love the mix of colors here – apple green, turquoise, red and brown.

here’s a peek at the master bedroom. nicole has amazing talent with choosing really funky color combos – totally inspiring!

off to relax a bit more. stay tuned… i’m throwing nicole a baby shower on thursday and you’ll be the first to see it!

in response to the chalkboard question – i haven't used my chalkboard much for that very reason. we have one outside now. but nicole uses primarily chalk board pens, which have no dust and wipe clean with a wet cloth.
