bend: days two & three

**my son was crawling on my lap as i was working on this post and published it before i was ready, so if you got a version of this post with no words originally, sorry!**

we started our second day with a garage sale. the kids seized the opportunity to make money for the ice cream truck by having a lemonade stand. here they are yelling to all who passed by, “LEMONADE!!!”

although they drank most of their inventory, i still think they fared better than we did at the garage sale.

little hawken is rarely seen without his helmet on!

he also is attached to this backpack like linus was to his blankie. hawk does have a bit of resemblance to the peanuts gang.

the rest of the day was pretty mellow. lots of hanging out, snuggling, bike riding, and backyard play.

day 3 was pretty similar, but with one sick boy (poor drew!). we finished the day off with an uneventful fishing trip.

i’ve been getting lots of sewing done for summer fest up here next weekend. if you’re in the area come visit me on saturday and sunday. for the rest of you, that means that my shop will be closed on those days and my inventory will shrink. so if there’s anything you’ve been eyeing in my shop, ya better hurry because it may not be there long!

talk soon!

I would LOVE to know where the post card carousel (that is displaying photos) came from?
