what i wore wednesday

i am realizing after about 5 weeks of doing this wiww that almost everything i wear is from target, old navy, or walmart!
so i think i will set myself a new challenge of trying to come up with outfits that don’t come from those places.
i may just end up back in my pj’s… we’ll see!
wednesday:
 got my hair cut and
served pizza lunch at school
black dress and tank from local boutique (think cheap!)
jeans from local boutique as well
sweater from target
shoes from payless (years ago!)
necklace from lisa leonard
camera strap from sheyb
thursday:
i was channeling my inner edie!
she pulls off the cutest outfits, but i, sadly, failed!
its something about the brown tank – just so blah!
edie would have had cuter socks poking out of her boots, a think belt around the sweater with a button down shirt underneath, and a pile of posies on her sweater.
tank from walmart
sweater from target
skirt from target ($5! i had to do a  little tailoring, but still!)
boots from forever21
necklace from me! (coming soon – promise!)

my new cut!
this was my first attempt at styling it myself.
i like it mostly, but i look waaay too much like lily, who just got her hair cut, too.

friday:
cleaning house for boutique that night
tshirt from target
 sweats from forever21
 flops from old navy
and i forgot to take a pic of my outfit for the boutique.
you’ll just have to trust me that it was cute.
and yes, it was from target.

 saturday:
family in town
hanging out
walk down town with courtney (sans kids!)
sweater from target
 grey shirt from target
jeans from boutique
sandals from walmart
necklace from lisa

attempt #2
better
i need it to flip a bit so its not so round

sunday:
mother’s day
church and hanging out
purple shirt from target
sweater from my sister
white pants from target
sandals from local boutique
belt from target i think

wanted to show you how cute the top is, but it gets hidden from the sweater

monday:
blah
so fitting for this monday
whenever my mom leaves i have a day of let down, and this was it.
blech.
boring mom outfit.
green knit top from target
sweater from old navy
jeans from 2nd hand store
flats from target

 tuesday:
i got dressed and didn’t even leave the house until the evening!
that’s a pretty big accomplishment for me
dress from target
leggings from walmart
flats from target

then we headed out to costco and it was freezing!
i added the sweater from old navy and boots from forever21.
ok, now its your turn!
let’s see what you all came up with this week!

Just found you through a giveaway that you are doing. I actually did this a couple of weeks ago. I will link up my post. I might start another week of it today. But, man it's kindof a lot of work, don't ya think? I'm totally impressed that you've stuck with it! And, your style is adorable and inspiring!
P.S. I think it's awesome that most of your clothes are from Walmart and Target, b/c you are totally showing how you don't have to pay tons of money and still look great.

First, your hair could not be cuter! Second, I cannot believe those boots came from Forever 21. I'm dying. Seriously.

And third, every time I see your bathroom the design dork in me starts lusting after your walls. Yes, your walls. You HAVE to tell me what the paint color is!

I love this idea for a link party and will try to get dressed enough times this next week to link up, This will inspire me to get out of my PJ's. The pit falls of homeschooling. BTW I love your hair cut, I am growing mine out from a cut like that and I am so sad and miss it already, but I made the mistake of asking hubby what he thought and of course he said he thinks I should grow, I asked so now I have to grow at least for a little while, okay I will stop rambling now. Can't wait for next week.

I love your style!!! Who cares where the clothes are from? You put them together so well!! No one can tell you are buying your clothes from Target or Wal-Mart. Perhaps I need to shop there? Apparently they have really cute clothes! But that would mean I would actually have to buy new clothes for myself … which I never do. Thus … my clothes? Pretty similar to your boring Mom outfit. :o)

I hope you keep up this portion of your website! I love it!!!!

  42. 42
