scrapbook circle giveaway

have you ever heard of a CHA convention?

basically, if you have any interest in crafting, this place is drool-worthy.

a few years ago, my friend kim was able to snag us a couple tickets to this amazing crafting convention.

our main focus was on the scrapbook area.

ohmygoodness! paper gets me going almost as easily as fabric!

not sure if you know this, but i am not a scrapbooker.

but that has never stopped me from buying supplies – mostly for invites.

and scrapbooking really has come a long way since it began gaining popularity 10-15 years ago.

{in walks scrapbook circle}

scrapbook circle is a monthly kit club.

basically, you subscribe to get a kit each month that is filled with the latest and greatest – papers and embellishments and goodies that were just featured at the most recent CHA!

they promise to deliver the most current and popular scrapbook lines every month along with unique and custom scrapbook circle items – so fun!

but my favorite part?

they have an amazing group of designers who each create a couple layouts each month just to inspire you.

even not being a “scrapbooker” i am so drawn to these kits!

they have so many ideas that are not scrapbook specific – like embellishing frames and creating stand-alone artwork.

you can join the kit club with only a 2 month commitment, then you can stay on month to month as long as you’d like!

check them out on facebook, twitter or their blog where they post daily inspiration.

so guess what?!

scrapbook circle is giving away a September kit ($29.50 value.) to one of you!

just leave me a comment telling me what you would do with your kit – be creative!

Oh yippie! I am in the process of creating my very OWN office/craft room, and would use the kit to create a decorative message center and decorate picture frames to give the room a cohesive fee.

Great giveaway from a great kit club! I would definitely be considered and addicted scrapper! Thanks for the chance to win some great goodies!!

  3. 3

I’d finally put together that scrapbook I’ve been meaning to make for a year since we went to London. I saved a ton of mementos from the trip and it’d be nice if they weren’t all shoved in a box under the bed.

  4. 4

Oooo, very pretty! I am not a scrapper, either. However, I do use pretty paper for other projects (invitations and the like, like you said). I would use this pack to cover the mats in some frames for a new family picture wall (I have had in mind for a while now) for our living room! Love your blog, Lindsey! Thanks for sharing all of your creative ideas. ;-)

  5. 5

I have the Darcy Miller wedding scrapbook, that is almost complete (it only took me two years)

  6. 6

i am not a scrapbooker, but love the beautiful paper! i am inspired by the beautiful frame that you posted…i also love your house rules project!
    thanks for hosting a giveaway!

  7. 7

This would inspire me to finish my son’s scrapbook. He just turned one and I only have a couple of pages done.

  8. 8

woweee, I just started following your blog, and am loving it! I followed just in time for this giveaway! YAY!!! I think if I won this kit, I would use some of it for my “lifebook” that I’m creating for our soon to be lil’ one… we’re adopting! I’m not a scrapbooker in the least bit, but I was told to make a journal/picture album for our little one of where they came from, and who we (the parents) are!

  9. 9

I would love to have this September pack. I am working on some books for my grandboys. We just had our first sleep over 3 cousins 4years, & 2- 3year olds. So many memories to share with them.

  10. 10

How fun! Scrapbooking isn’t my thing, but I do love pretty paper! Sometimes I cut my favorite papers up and turn them into little pictures to display. I have one for fall that has paper sheets on a clothesline with paper pumpkins lined up underneath.

  11. 11
    Carissa Jordan says:

Oh, I would love to win this! I have been debating for years whether or not to scrapbook. I have so many photos from days gone by that need to be organized and put into albums. However, my creative side is stoked by cross-stitch right now. I am in awe of how supplies for that have evolved over the last several years while I was away from it. I would use these pieces to embellish my cross-stitch finishes. Cards, ornaments, flatfolds & such. It would be so easy to the papers to the fabric w/archival quality fabric glue.

  12. 12
    Courtney Wells says:

The posibilities are endless! I would probably continue working on my scrapbook for my husband and me. Thanks for hosting the giveaway!

  28. 28

oh, oh, i know . . . i would make cards with it. i’m not much of a scrapbooker these days either, but i do LOVE to make cards. they’re like mini scrapbook pages without the pictures!
    thanks!

Ok . . . so maybe I would steal a few sheets of fun paper out of the stash. :) Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  62. 62

I would use the kit for pages but also the decorate one of my cigar boxes.

  63. 63

I would make a totally awesome present for someone with the kit. A group of girlfriends and I do a craft swap a few times a year and I’m always looking for inspiration for the next swap. This would be a great place to start!

  64. 64

I would use it to make some wall art for my stairs. We just hung pictures in the stairwell which are b/w and i would love to use the kit for a pop of color to brighten the space up!

  65. 65

  66. 66

I love that kit! How fun. My Husband is a pastor and our family just moved to a new town for his job. There is a craft night at the church on Friday’s. Usually my crafts involve painting something so I would love something like this that I could craft and get to know the other women! It would be such a fun way to make new friends.

  67. 67

    I think I would, well…scrapbook!

  69. 69

  70. 70

I don’t scrapbook either, so I would use it to make cards, invites or home decorations.

  71. 71

  73. 73

  74. 74

Oh wow, I would use this kit to catch up on my scrapbooking! I’m 2 years behind on both my boys! But mainly I would use it to start a scrapbook of my own. I’m always scrapbooking about their lives, but somehow don’t seem to capture the amazing and fun things that i would like to remember about myself some day! :)

  75. 75

Ooooohh I would totally use this to make my ultimate bulletin board! It’s been on my to-do list, but I’ve been looking for inspiration to “jazz” it up!

I am not a scrapbooker either but I love to send cards. With this kit I’d make some pretty cards to send out to friends and family. The good kind you send for no reason at all! : )

  77. 77

What a nice kit! I’ve been thinking about joining a scrapbook kit club, but haven’t decided on a company. The items in this kit look like they’d be great for making a mini album about spring or summer!

  78. 78

Ooh…I really like the frame idea you posted. And I love to make journals & cards…I’d use it for something like that :)

  79. 79

I would totally scrapbook with that kit. Or, honestly, I would intend to scrapbook… but most of it would probably be added to my ever-growing STASH! :D I am creating a fire hazard with all my scrapping supplies!

  80. 80

I would make some wall art for my sons room. He is turning one in november and i am trying to give him a more modern “big boy” room. l also have sweet handprints that made with Ian into turkey’s to give in frames to family at Thanksgiving and i would use the kit to make more precious, and memorable. What’s left……Maybe a family rules frame…i’ve been wanting one for awhile now!

I would definitely make some birthday cards for all of my nieces!!

  96. 96

So with that…..((sending out pick me vibes))) LOL

  97. 97

I have 3 little boys, ages 7, 5, and 1, and I have purchased 3 beautiful and very unique scrapbooks for each of them in hopes that I would fill them with beautiful pictures, storeies, and embelishments of their amazing little lives. However, due to lack of funding (who am I kidding, and time) I am currently on my first son (age 7) first christmas, my second son (age 5) kidney surgery that he had a 3 months old….and as for the third one…well, the wrapper isn’t even off the book. I would L.O.V.E. this September Kit, it would be a great inspiration to get started on my children’s books!

P.S. I love your blog…I linked to it off a friend of a friend’s blog and have been a faithful reader every since. Thank you for being a “real mom” and making me laugh, cry, and not feel so alone! You are wonderful!

  104. 104

I would love to win this FAB Giveaway! I would use the kit to create note cards for my students and their parents. I like to send home notes with my students that talk about their successes not only their problems. I think it would be nice if the notes were more creative than just a plain card and white envelope. Thanks for the wonderful giveway!

  105. 105

I have a new niece (my one and only) that will be 4 months in a few days…Each month I am creating a layout to put in an album for her when she is 1. A little keepsake of each month of her life for the first year…this kit would help out!

I would work on my scrapbook pages and some cards.

  109. 109

Oh wow! I have never heard of this group. How cool is that?! I am not sure what I would do with it. I am a scarpbooker so I am sure that would be one thing that I would use it for but I would also probably use it on craft projects or on frames.

  110. 110

I love the idea of doing a collage inside a photo frame, but putting some elements on the outside of the frame – I’d love to do that to tell a story through photos and scrapbooking elements!

  111. 111
    Hayley Amack says:

So I guess I’m not really being creative here, but it would jump start my scrapbooking for my son. I committed to making each of my children a scrapbook…. but have sadly fallen behind. Having some new supplies would be great, but even better would be some new inspiration!

  112. 112

  126. 126

I have one of those trays that I haven’t decorated yet so I could definitely do that. I also love to make cards and other paper crafts.

i have lots to catch up on for my two boys scrapbooks!!

  133. 133

I would make birthday cards and then maybe some fall inspired cards for thanksgiving or even christmas cards. I always say I’m going to make my cards, but i never do. this would be the push to do it.

  134. 134

    I love the card idea!

  135. 135

Ever since I became pregnant with my first son who is now 15 months old I have been scraping all the big events in his life. Holidays, outtings etc etc and I just got a big order of over 250 prints from snapfish- so as you can see I have a lot to catch up on! I have so much enjoyed scrapbooking his life so far and I just hope that when I have more kids I’ll be motivated enough to do the same for them! Plus, believe it or not (and I don’t mean to sound cheesy here!) But today is my 27th birthday! What an awesome present it would be to win! I would have such a ball!!! Thanks for the chance to win!

  136. 136

Oooh! I LOVE scrap booking but haven’t done anything in a while. I would probably also make cards and framed art. I need to get back into doing this!

  137. 137

i love the idea of using the embelishements in a picture frame. fabulous!

  138. 138

i would make fun little note cards…or spruce up some pics around the house…or make cute fall garland…or make a fun fall-ish paper wreath. oh the possibilities! :)))

  139. 139

I think I just found a Christmas gift for my sister!!! We try to ‘outgift’ each other every year for Christmas…I won last year and would love to give this to her this year! YEAH!

  140. 140

I think I woul;d make a tray and put resin over all of it. Love to do that, just wish I had more time!

  141. 141

How cute! I homeschool, so I would use the kit to scrapbook our “Back to School” pictures and some of our fall activities. I also make a notebook cover for the year’s calendars, schedules and book lists. Thanks for offering this!

  142. 142

    oooh, all is so pretty!
…i’d *try* to make something creative for the kids room.
    OR
    …make our “family rules” board.

  143. 143

I *love* your picture frame idea. Hadn’t thought of using scrapbook paper that way – but I will now!!

I have made a ‘family rules’ for our neighbors and want to make them for my sisters too. So I’d either use the kit for that or for the ‘scrapbooking vacation’ my sister and I are doing later this month. (We’re taking vacation days and working together to try and catch up while the kids are at school!)

  144. 144

I think I might just use it in a scrapbook. I’m trying to get caught up and I need some inspiration.

  145. 145

Drooling over this kit! I am a scrapbooker so would use it for my pages. I just bought one of those cute 7 Gypsy Printer Trays similar to the one shown above and want to make a display for my home.

  146. 146

I’m thinking I would use it to alter some canvases that I have been hoarding.

  147. 147

Love it, I would use it to make some framed family pictures for a picture wall I am doing.

  148. 148
    Angela Merrell says:

I would use it to create a new canvas.

  149. 149

I think I’d use them for my little girl’s birthday invites, and maybe some crafty home decor projects…a mod-podge tray maybe?

    Thanks for the great giveaway!

  150. 150
    shannon stinson says:

  151. 151

I would use to scrap, cards & use on these HUGE paper mache letters I had forever for my girls’ rooms! Oh yeah! Some magnets for our fridge! We are trying to round up some bottle caps! (I *heart* SBC!)

Well, let me just tell you. I think scrapbooking is the coolest, and i have done a few cards and photo projects(of which I had a ton of fun doing) However I promise that if I win your give away I will finally get to work on all the scrabooking I have dreamed of doing with all of the pictures that have acumulated since the birth of my first of four.

    I’m a card-maker and can’t get enough scrapbook paper.

  162. 162

That would be awesome! Since I scrapbook, I’d make cards and page layouts and maybe something else, too:) Aimee

  163. 163
    Doreen Vasquez says:

I am already a part of their club…but I could always use another kit! :-)
I completed 6 layouts w/ their Aug kit and so far, 1 and 1/2 w/ their sept kit!

  164. 164

I think I might have to make some cute pages to frame for my daughter’s room.

  165. 165

In all honesty, I am not a scrapbooker either. But I am a paper crafter! I love the instant gratification of card making – scrapbooking just takes too long for me. So I would definitely covet my new paper for awhile before I made some super cute fall cards!

Thanks for the chance to win!
Hope you are enjoying your trip!

  166. 166
    Rochelle Rodriguez says:

I would love to embellish some empty frames I have!! I have good intentions and I’m sure the kit would help me with my follow through!

  170. 170

definitely to embelish a frame! love that idea : )

  171. 171

Oooooo what would I do with my kit if I won? I would ogle and drool over it for many days maybe even weeks. Then I would take everything out piece by piece and love it even more. Then I would hesitantly think about using it for some layouts then put it all back. After deciding that I really should use it to really appreciate it, then I would start doing some layouts with it. I might even make some cards to use up all of the last bits and pieces : )

  172. 172

  176. 176

i don’t scrapbook either – BUT i do make cards. I would use the kit to make cards that i can give to my friend who would use them in her church ministry. I would also use the kit to make cards for the hospice that i volunteer at. They send out birthday cards to the families. What’s better than making something that makes peole smile! thank you for the chance to win this kit.

Also, I have this Joyful Motherhood Manifesto that I printed off Ann Voskamp’s blog months ago and have been wanting to mount on cool papers and hand out to the moms in my co-op, but just haven’t had any nice paper to do that with. This would be perfect!

  180. 180

I would have a weekend craft party with my two grown daughters. They do a lot of traveling and have lots of great pictures that would be so fun to work with them to put them in a mini album and share their memories that otherwise might be forgotten. I’m going to have to check out the website more – great products!

  181. 181

I would make a memory keepsake for my 92 year old grandmother. She has alzheimer’s disease and live in another state. I would like to make her something to help her remeber us especially since we live in another state. She just moved from her home into an assisted living facility and I think can use all the cheering up she can get.

  182. 182

That is so cool! I would probably do some sort of family memories type of thing, but really, you could do all kinds of stuff!

  183. 183

    Stacey Fiessinger says:

I would create some really cool layouts for my kids Back to school pages in their scrapbooks, not so creative, but oh so needed!

  192. 192

i would make a fun frame like that one! :)

  193. 193

I don’t scrapbook either, but I think these would be fun to make cards and invites with! Love it!

  194. 194

I don’t scrapbook, but those kits are awesome for a zillion other crafting projects! I would probably make something cute for my girls’ bedroom.

  195. 195

I would probably make a mini album for my boys. They are toddlers and really love to look at pictures, so I think I’m going to do a chipboard mini for them including pics of each other. I’ll modge podge the outside to protect the pages and pictures to make it last a while for them.

Thanks for the fun giveaway and for making me think about one of my next crafty adventures!!!

  196. 196

I’m getting ready to scrapbook for an evening with some good friends. This kit would be the perfect, little bit of inspiration! Thanks for a chance to win!

  197. 197
    Brenda Lewis says:

I really like the frame box and I am a scrapper, so that’s what I would be doing with most of it:)
Heck…I would just love to get my hands on that kit!!!

  198. 198

I have been wanting to create a really fun Christmas Advant calendar using a muffin tin. I like the idea of using non-Christmas colored papers to make it blend more with my everyday decor.

  199. 199

I would use the kit for scrapbooking – they have such cute stuff!

  200. 200

I am mostly a card artist, so I would probably use it to make a box of cards to give to my sister to give away. She used to pass the cards I made for her to give away off as her own — I fixed that by putting my personalized “Designs By…” sticker on the back of each card. Don’t be too hard on her. She’s an excellent cook and I once — or twice — passed off something she made as something I had made. I didn’t fib, but I didn’t exactly tell the truth about who the cook was… Sisters — is there anything better? Not in my book!

  201. 201

    …Maybe I’d actually scrapbook with it??…

  202. 202

I would update my kids’ scrapbooks that I’m falling behind on. I think I need some new products to motivate me.

  205. 205

I would scrapbook our fall memories! This is soo cute!

  206. 206

My daughter is a freshman, and she’s in her first year of marching band!! Wow, it’s time consuming, but she LOVES it! I want to create an album for her all about her start on this musical journey, and I want to include every competition that she participates in! I think having an album all about this would THRILL her, because it’s a big deal, and I’m so proud of her! Amazing kit! I love it! It doesn’t hurt that so much of the blue in the kit is perfect for her school color! :) Thanks for a chance to win!

  207. 207

I would make some super cute cards, gift tags … something for a thank you to the amazing teachers that are molding my kiddos’ minds at this moment.

  208. 208

YOU are so inspiring. I just happened on this blog and will now watch it each day. I’m inspired to get sewing and get crafting! Love what you’re doing!

  211. 211

oooh. I would make catchy learning tools for my cute little learners, 2 boys, who I homeschool. Specifics? hmmm. I would use the circle tags for sight words. Or how about the numbers and letters to write up a cute classroom rules chart?? Or…. how about the digi-ribbon to frame pictures of the boys hard at work, to remind them of one of their new words: diligence.
    So many ideas!!!

  212. 212

I would scrap with it of course;) (Maybe hoarde it too!) It’s so pretty. I have a few scrapbooks I’m working on now – besides random pages here and there – My 11 month olds baby book and we went to Alaska for 6 weeks this summer – drove from WA – while my hubby worked up there. It’s an amazing drive with lots of wild life and beautiful scenery. Want to do all those pics in a sort of scrapped photo album. Thanks for all your inspiration Lindsey – I love following your blog! (And that sounds so super fun to meet Amy Butler and Heather Bailey and do what you do – so very cool!)

  213. 213

I’m like you – i have all the tools and supplies to scrapbook but I’d rather make fun cards and invites and anything else. I love paper! So – if I won I would probably just look at the paper over and over again and plan some amazing party so I could use the supplies to make invites! :)

  214. 214

I would love to use the kit to scrapbook and also make cards.

  215. 215

I never have enough motivation to work on a scrapbook all the time, those are HUGE projects. But I do covet all the beautiful paper and embellishments when I walk through that section of the craft store. I love making cards!! That’s what the main focus would be probably. Although I’m finding a lot of cute ideas in blog land about how to use scrapbook paper for other things.

  216. 216

I love to scrapbook! But I think with something like this, I would make cards. Super cute stuff! Hope I win!

  218. 218

I love pics, but it’s hard finding the time to do the scrapbooking. This kit would be great at helping me out a little

  219. 219

The scrapbooking kit would be great to me. My wife would be so excited that I got it for her that there’s not telling what she’d do. And she wouldn’t have to worry about spending some money on scrapbook supplies.

  220. 220

Organization and effeciency is KEY with five children. This would be Super Duper to whip up a page in a jiffy with my five little guys!!! Thanks!!

  221. 221

I AM A SCRAPBOOKER! I got my first scrapbook when I was 13 and I really got into it when I was 18. Now that I am married and have my own house, I have a room that is dedicated to my scrapbooks and other crafty ventures. I feel that it is a hobby that requires time and effort to get better. I love scrapbooking paper and often I feel it is simply too pretty to use…(yeah, I LOVE it). I am starting to get into adding journaling to my pages as well. If I had the packet, I would probably use it in the baby album that I making for my friend (Yes, I scrapbook so much that I now scrapbook for other people…it’s insane).

  222. 222

I would like to tell you that I would use it to catch up on my poor last child’s scrapbook album…but the reality of it is, I would probably hoard it for a while and in 10 years use it to actually make said album. I get distracted easily!

  223. 223

If I won this I might be motivated to pick up my scrapbook again. I haven’t put pictures in an album in over a year. I have a 16-month old so I’ve accumulated quite a bit of pictures in the past year!

  224. 224

    i WOULD BLING/CREAT MY NURSING CLIP BOARD….

  225. 225

I am going to modge poge some of my notebooks and picture frames! These are so cute! And after seeing your pictures, I am going to add the scrapbooking paper in the frames too! :)

  235. 235

My daughter is turning thirteen and I want to make a special advise/being a woman book her – already asked all the women we know to contribute. This would sure help me put it together!

  236. 236

Ooo pretty! I’d love to make a pretty fall garland with it, and mat some picture frames for fall. That is, if I have any left over after doing a few scrapbook pages, making a few cards, covering the letters A U T U M N for my mantle…

  245. 245

I’m so not a scrapbook-er but I LOVE paper and supplies. I may have to sign up for a subscription. I think I would make some fun party decorations for an upcoming shower I am hosting.

  247. 247

I love to scrapbook but right now I am working on covering some boxes and decorating them for storage in our living room. I want them all to coordinate but all be different and the paper and colors in this pack look like it would be perfect for this!
