a little flea

we have a great local show called “3 speckled hens: antiques and old stuff show”, and they are hosted twice a year.

after church this sunday i took the kids with me and we browsed the goodies.

i wanted the table above, but it wouldn’t fit in my car or my budget.  hate when that happens!

i thought the weathered door panels had the most beautiful crumbly patina

i have a small collection of vintage fans, and i so wanted this one to join the others.

the stack of booklets was just plain adorable.

and that green trunk would make such a great coffee table – if only i needed one.  oh!  i could’ve used it on my front porch!

i loved both of these light fixtures – totally “out of the box”.

if i didn’t already love silas’ room the way it is, i would soooo do this!

someone, anyone, you have to try this headboard make of book covers and spines – it is so cool!  and it would go great with the book spine chandelier at anthro i showed you last week.

and these were just pretty.

i was very proud of myself for not buying anything, other than the entrance fee, but i walked away with so much inspiration.

i love old stuff!

I love old stuff too. Sometimes I am glad I can’t drive my husband’s truck. It has probably saved me (and him) from bringing home some big purchases. ;) Looks like a great spot to browse!

I absolutely love the headboard of book covers!!! I would totally consider doing that for my oldest…he’s a complete book worm, but I’d feel horrible ruining books.

I was a vendor! It was an amazing show. Some very talented, fun people! That amazing green farm table found a home on my very dear friends covered patio. I was coveting it as well. I have hope that she will invite me over to sit on it. :o)
