good news, bad news

so, do you want the good news or the bad news first?

ok, good news it is!

the queen bee market this weekend was AMAZING!  jess and mique did a fabulous job and made this event the very best i have EVER had the pleasure to be a part of.  those girls took care of every last detail and made it a fabulous experience for both the vendors and the shoppers alike.

and the vendors!  oh the vendors!  they were unbelievable again!  the queen bees have a knack for choosing vendors that make me want to empty my bank account just so i can get one of everything – and just for me.  i made lap after lap around the venue and couldn’t stop thinking about everything I wanted!  i actually had to make a list of who else to buy for because everything was so appealing to me.

and more on the good news, the show was very successful for me!  so successful that my shop is about half the size of what it was last week.

and that leads me to the bad news: my shop is half the size of what it was last week :(

i haven’t even had a chance to catch my breath from the market and am already busily cutting away at new designs and pattern – you’re gonna freak out at one of my new wristlet clutches – ack!

one new thing i have are petal drop necklaces, but no time as of yet to photograph them.  come back in a bit and i’ll have them listed for your viewing pleasure.  and i’ll also have a market recap for you as well with many of the fabulous vendors!

for now, enjoy the shots of my booth!

Congratulations on a great show! I’ve heard so many good things about that boutique from friends who live in the area! I was jealous of them getting to go! Glad to hear you did so well.

Sounds like a nice problem to have! Everyone loves your stuff!

That is amazing, can’t wait to see the clutches.

I was the woman who asked you “aren’t you the pleated poppy blogger?” just as you were starting to be the door greeter. I was thrilled with the goodies I purchased from your shop. I wore a flower pin from your shop to church today and everyone kept asking me where I got it–they loved it! I have followed your blog for awhile and your stuff was just as beautiful as I expected it would be. Glad to hear that you had a great show!

Did you know I ended up buying a few things from your booth?! A bloom bag, a petal pusher and a little snap pouch….to hold my business cards! I am trying to work on my post and picture editing while driving home, but it is hard on on a bumpy freeway. We should be home around 2:00 am! Spent too much time on the beach today….it was gorgeous though and we just didn’t want to leave.

It was so much fun meeting you and getting to chat. I hope we get to chat more {and hang out} in the future!!

I loved getting to meet you. Thank you for being kind and letting Letti and I get pictures with you. Your booth was really so beautiful. I am still in love with your tablecloth/quilt top. I loved each and every thing you sold. They are all (if not more so) as beautiful in person as they are in your shop. Loved everything you were selling. I am glad you did so well!!

I had such a fantastic time at the Queen Bee Market and I adored your booth. It kept drawing me in. Thanks for the darling clips. I snatched up a few for my daughter, but since she keeps pulling them out of her hair I may just have to wear them until she wants them back :)
