newsletter time!

happy monday friends!

bloggy boot camp san diego kicked my rear into gear this weekend, reminding me, yet again, that i have so much more to grow on this little blog o’ mine.

one thing i’ve known i needed to do for awhile was have a newsletter.  i’ve even got a spot for you to sign up for my newsletter on my sidebar – see?  over there? —>

another thing i’ve known for awhile now is that i am soooo not techy!  i have to ask for help for everything, and even when i do ask for help, i often don’t understand it!  apparently, when i signed up for a newsletter service eons ago, it would send a newsletter automatically to anyone that signs up.  great right?  except i had no idea what it was saying or even the fact that it was going out! (i’m kind of embarrassing myself right now!  i should be acting professional like i have it all together, but i so don’t!)  so if you signed up for a newsletter and got something very impersonal, i’m so sorry!  i have a better one all ready to go, coming to an email inbox near you soon (as long as i don’t screw it up!).

so why have a newsletter?

well, i’m so glad you asked!

my newsletters will hold all kinds of  fun goodies, from a craft preview to sneak peaks to new products to advanced notice of shop updates to exclusive discounts!

sounds like a good deal, right?  all you have to do is go sign up, and i promise you’ll get something fun very soon!

since i’m talking shop, i have a few products to highlight!

olive, mustard, and orchid petal pushers are back in stock!

new teal ruffled scarves are in! (pic coming soon)

and posy pins!

enjoy your week!  i’m off to check a lot off my list today.  what’s on yours?

  1. 1

I love your stuff and your logo and pretty much everything! Great idea with the newsletter!

  2. 2

Congratulations on getting the “real” newsletter up and running! I am exactly the same when it comes to the technicalities of having and trying to grow a blog. Im still so lost when it comes to alot of it but Ive made it a goal to figure those things out this year.
Love the new products Lindsey. Have a great day!

  3. 3

I love getting fun little newsletters! YIPPIE!

hmm…on my to do list: catch up at work, make a facial appointment, sent out thank you’s, catch up at home, catch my breath…lots of stuff. But I’m feeling good and feel like I can get it done!

    Happy New Week!

You “sound” SO much more inspired this week! I’m so happy for you that you got your bounce back in your step! Enjoy your day!

  6. 6

Okay you got me I’ll sign up for the newsletter! It sounds fun -seriously :) I’m sorry I missed the Blog Bootcamp looks like it was awesome. Don’t worry I’m not techy either and considering my family and friends abilities I should be super embarrassed-but I’m not haha oblivious me…

  7. 7

I know what you mean when you say you’re not techie. I’m still pretty new to blogging and my first blog was really just a glorified journal that my techie brother hosted. Now that I’ve ventured into the real blogging world, I’ve been using all the “for Dummies” books I can find on blogging, html, wordpress, etc. It’s a lot of work to understand and become a well-put-together blog. Your blog is great and has given me much inspiration. Keep up the great momentum.

  8. 8

I hope you share more of what you learned at your bloggy bootcamp! On my to-do, applique some shirts (work)!! LOVE checking your blog each day and looking forward to receiving your newsletter!!

  9. 9

Can’t wait to get my first newsletter!
I’ve never signed up for a newsletter but I know yours will be great so I knew it was worth signing up for!
Jealous of bloggy boot camp! Wish I could have been there!

  10. 10

GREAT WORK! I signed UP. You are so on the ball! My list of things to do is so HUGE after BBCSD

  11. 11

Today and for some time now I’ve been trying to organize my tiny little corner so I can start (try to start) my own little business. I signed up for the Indie Business course and am already way behind, but I like that I can do it on my own time. Once I’m organized (semi), I’ll get back to business in the course. Will be glad to get your newsletter. Besides the blog and FB and everything else, it’ll be a fun way to keep up with what’s happening with you and the family. My other to-do’s? I’ll have to think about that and make a list. That’s how organized I am. :)

  12. 12

I just got your newsletter in my inbox! Very cute!

  13. 13

After admiring the mustard scarf at BBCSD, I knew I must have one. Just ordered the Teal. I’ll be watching the newsletter for a blush/pinkish one.

    Love your work darlin’
