another failed week of wiww, but i promise i got dressed almost every day! i just didn’t get to taking pics of myself because we were either out of town (hello… queen bee?), or i was just plain too busy!
if you’re new here and think this is a bunch of craziness… it is! but there really is a reason behind it all. long ago i was, and still am, a stay-at-home, work-at-home, homeschooling mama. which basically means i don’t get out much. so why add to the laundry pile and get dressed everyday when pj’s were a perfectly fine uniform. and if i did have to get out, sweats and a hat were better than pj’s, so they were my dressy clothes. i decided to make more of an effort in taking care of myself, namely just getting dressed in the morning. i have used my blog as a foundation for this to be my accountability, and it really has made a difference! thankfully, i’m not alone in this and so many of you have joined in with me and validated that i’m not totally crazy. or at least i’m not alone ;)
i document my outfits and describe what i’m wearing and where i got it because most of it is very affordable, or i’ve had forever, and i want to show that making an effort to take care of yourself doesn’t have to mean spending a fortune.
cardi, skinnies, and boots (still for sale online) – target
shirt – macy’s (early b-day gift from my m.i.l.)
necklace – lisa leonard designs
and yes, he is adorable! i totally agree!
and then there’s lily.
yellow ruffly cardi, pink polka dot shirt layered over a pink striped shirt, with a pink sash, pink tutu, pink leggings, and argyle knee highs with white mary jane tennies. i dare anyone over 6 to try this outfit and pull it off so well! this girl can rock the funk like no other, and she has the sass to boot! when i get out the camera with her she comes alive and gets so stinkin’ hilarious!
