hellooo! welcome to our weekly edition of what i wore wednesday! if you are new here and think i’m crazy for posting pictures of what i wear each week, you’re right. but there actually is a reason behind it: i needed some motivation to get out of my pjs and sweats so i started posting pics of myself to use my blog as an accountability platform. and guess what?! it totally worked! now, i still definitely lounge around in cozies, but its much less often and i feel so much better when i put a little effort into myself. if you’d like to join us, link up at the bottom of this post! there really aren’t any rules, just as long as its some sort of a fashion post, not a craft project or anything!
wow, i look thrilled to have my pics taken! i was working, it was late, and sean was kind enough to oblige.
top and jeans – forever 21
sandals – target
necklace – thrifted from ruby rose
even though its summer, it still is chilly in the mornings and evenings here, so i pretty much still live in cardigans.
cardi – target
i *loved* this outfit! i felt so bold mixing stripes with floral, then adding the belt.
cardi, belt & top – forever 21
trouser jeans – target
wedge sandals – old navy
as much as i loved the cardi with the outfit, it was too hot this day to wear it, so i just wore the top solo. and still loved it. super comfy and forgiving.
and this may be my newest favorite outfit! i wore this for church.
cardi & flats – target
tank – old navy
skirt – forever 21
necklace – allora handmade (i need this in e.ver.y color. for reals)
what really makes me smile? freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, mmmmm!
i think i may take more pictures here – i love the light above my kitchen sink!
