what i wore wednesday

welcome to another week of wiww!

last week 218 of you linked up with me – wow!  that was the most ever!

i was also asked last week (again) by a real life friend what wiww is really all about.  as i explained it like i do every week here (i started this to help keep me accountable to get out of my sweats every day…) i realized that this thing is really working!  i wish i was better about taking pictures everyday, but i am definitely getting dressed at least 6 days a week, which i think is a far cry from where i began – sweats and jammies every day.

so thank you to all of you who encourage me to keep on keepin’ on, and also to those of you who join me in this every week!  i so hope that it helps you accomplish whatever goals you are trying to reach, or at least have fun trying!

i didn’t leave this spot much at all last week, getting all my work prepped before heading out of town again.

sweater and top – banana republic (sale)

under tank – forever 21

skinnies – target

sandals – mervyn’s before they closed

necklace – lisa leonard designs

bracelet – allora handmade

lily’s dress and leggings – target

top – gift from mom, from paris (lucky dog)

jeans – forever 21

the top is belted and i clipped a posy pin and a petal pusher to it.

since lily and gracie are my resident photographers when sean isn’t around and i’m too lazy to get out the tripod (always), we took a little foot shot together.

sandals – gap

if you follow me on twitter, you may have heard my exercise woes.  i really don’t like running.  i picked it up for about a year a few years ago, and have totally stopped exercising since stopping running.  i just never enjoyed it.  i’ve tried a bit to get back into it over this summer and i think i’ve decided i just don’t want to do it.  i feel sick every time i run, i find it totally boring, and i feel poopy when i’m done.  so today nicole got me to try yoga.  i’ve done it a few times before, but this time it was amazing and i was sweating like a pig, which is probably a good thing for me.  and thanks to lots of twitter friends’ suggestions, i may try out jillian michaels as well.

top – zoe clothing co.

pants & sunnies – forever 21

wrap – evy’s tree

this top is crazy comfy and i must admit, i never changed out of this outfit all day!

love them all – as always. although, i may sneak up & steal that coral wrap from your closet!

  2. 2

That coral wrap is gorg! I need a wrap that color! I love the greenish sandals! Fun and feminine! I think it is awesome that you get dressed almost 6 days a week! Taking pics every day is hard…kids or njo kids. Looks like you do a great job!

  3. 3

What a great idea pinning your posy pin and petal pusher to that belt. Such a cute little extra. LOVING your wrap and wow- if I was starting my Jillian Micheal’s workout looking as fabulous as you I wouldn’t be quite so discouraged. Today was finally day one! (I’ve had the DVD for a week- turns out just owning it doesn’t actually make you look better.) See you next weekend!

  4. 4

Hi thanks for the hop,all your outfits look great, the posy pins are a great idea :)

  5. 5

You are a doll…love all the outfits. And I agree with ya on the running…kuddos to those who can do it on a regular basis. I’ve tried to get into it but it makes me feel poopy, too! :-)

  6. 6

Love love love the Paris top (esp. with the posies). And YAY! You liked yoga!!!!!!

  7. 7

Have you ever done any barre type workouts? I just started doing barre3 and I am kinda obsessed with it! I hate working out but I can’t stop thinking about the next class.

  8. 8

I’ve been doing the Jillian Michaels dvd’s since April. I feel fantastic after I do them. You look great!

  9. 9

Love the first outfit 100%! The ruffled too is so cute! I also love the top from Paris! Ooh la la! ;)

  10. 10

I seriously need to shop in your closet. I swear everything you wear is so adorable. Love it all!

  11. 11

Your Lily is so very sweet. Look at her there all cute and WIWW perfect!

Your yoga gear is the prettiest I’ve ever seen.

  12. 12

It’s so nice to hear that other people just don’t run either… I live in CO, and everybody runs, but it just makes me miserable. But I feel great after a yoga or pilates dvd.
I love the top from Paris… beautiful! :)

  14. 14

I love your last outfit!!! You look darling :)

  15. 15

I LOVE that coral wrap!!! The color is absolutely beautiful. I was hesitant to buy one in this style last year, but I got one in gray and I absolutely love it. I definitely want to snag up one in another color!

  16. 16

    Workout clothes are the best!

  17. 17

Lindsey, I am in love with your coral wrap. Sadly, I have been told that no more will be made. But I also love your daughter’s cute outfit!! I have been playing with coral and pink this summer, myself.

  18. 18

you always look SO cute! love this linkup :) thanks for hosting every week!

  19. 19

um… will you take me shopping with you? You’ve got great style, and i am coveting your Parisian blouse!

  20. 20

Love these looks, especially the first one!

  21. 21

Very inspiring. One of these days I might be brave enough to join you all. That is if I can get out of my jeans and t-shirts or yoga pants. Speaking of yoga pants…..love the last oufit (that would be your yoga outfit ;o)

  22. 22

Love, Love, Love WIWW. Super cute this week. I work in a plumbing shop with all men and I’ve got them asking now: is it WIWW today! :-)

  23. 23

You are so, SO pretty and all of your outfits are adorable! Even when it is just sweat pants and a tank top.. I love it all. :)

  24. 24

This is a great idea! I’m warming up to the WIWW and now that I know the “WHY” (accountability) I may have to try this. It may take me a few weeks to get to the point, but this is definitely something I want to do!

  25. 25

Your daughter is so adorable! Love your porch!!!

  26. 26

you always look cute! i am a yoga girl, i think if you give it a good chance you will love it! sometimes it is just finding a teacher that you like her style and it is great excersize. i just tried stand up paddle boarding the other day and thought it was easy due to the balance i have from doing yoga!

  27. 27

I feel the same way about running. I just discovered Bodyrock. http://www.bodyrock.tv/ It is amazing! The workouts are only 15-20 minutes. But they are an intenses 15 minutes! It is not boring because they are challenging and fun. Best of all they are free! I’ve been doing them for about a week and I already find my body changing. There is also a lot of motivational stories to keep my tired body moving!

  28. 28

love, love, LOVE :) im new to bloggin, so as soon as i get situated… i am definitely jumping on this! ;D
