life rearranged

another week linking to jeannett!

the boy was given a gift card to target and he was so excited to pick out his own toy!  it took him for.ever. to make up his mind!  he landed on a battery operated giant monster truck.

this is how we find silas almost every single night.  he loves books!  so much so that we asked for them for his birthday gifts.  and what’s even better about this pic is that this book and more in the series from richard scary were mine and sean’s when we were kids.

sometimes i have greta ideas.  this is one of them.

vanilla ice cream + milk + kahlua = heaven.  so very yummy.

while window shopping downtown with my sister-in-law and our girls, we saw this adorable wreath of tom’s shoes – how cute (and expensive) is this?!

yay for a beach day!  the weather was perfect (probably 78* – i’ve decided that is the perfect temp).  the kids happily played for hours (you can see all 6 behind me).

well, if nothing else they can be grave diggers when they grow up.

have a great weekend friends!

Oh, does that Richard Scarry book bring me back! Love it!! Our library carries so many of his books and our youngest could spend 20 minutes on every page. And that Kahlua recipe… Thanks for the making my night!

I think 78 is the perfect temp too. You can still wear jeans if needed and sweat isn’t part of your outfit. Nice choice. Agreed!

Kahlua is a South African drink… and I have made that recipe so many times.
But since I moved to Portugal, I haven’t done it in ages….. its kind of hard to find it.
But you made me homesick… so I’m going Kahlua hunting :)
Loved the post. My 2 years old daughter also loves books.
