wooden alphabet block craft

sometimes you just need that go-to gift.

this is one of those easy-peasy crafts that anyone with a glue gun (and some blocks, duh) can do.

and i totally stole this idea from a friend who gave silas his own name in blocks.  honesty is the best policy ;)

years ago i bought a huge jar of old wooden alphabet blocks.  silas plays with them all the time still, and i love it.  but he won’t notice if a handful of them are missing here and there.

all i had to do was find all the letters i needed, mix up the colors so they looked good, and squirt a dab of hot glue in between each block.

and it makes a great, easy baby gift – yay!

This idea makes me wish I lived closer to a big city! Good thing for the internet, it might be easier to find blocks on there rather than locally.

able, I totally don’t live in the big city at all. In fact, we are a town, not a city. I yard sale and about 1 year ago I found a super cute wooden box with these exact same blocks on them. Search and I’m sure you’ll find some super cute stuff out there.

Cute idea Lindsey. Hows the start of school coming along for you all? We’re into week two here. I love my new job and am just trying to find our new normal. Its hard to get everything done at the end of the day from being gone all day long.
I cant wait for Blog Sugar in just a few short weeks! YAY!
