life rearranged

linking up again with miss jeannett (as we call her in our house)!

 oh fridays, sweet, sweet fridays!

our homeschool load is light and the girls get 3 hours of super fun classes to go to: art, sculpting, yoga and cooking.

and silas & i?  we date.  this weeks request was donuts, so donuts it was (who am i to complain?).

after church and a luncheon, we packed up the crew and headed to the beach.  you see, on the central coast, our summers start in fall, when the weather is best here.  this day sean decided, officially i guess, that silas will start surfing next year.  the boy was standing on the boogie board as he rode the waves in.  i say he should learn to swim better first…

oh my blush rosies!  i have been pining after my s.i.l.‘s and finally got my own!  i wore them first with just a plain white tee and jeans.  i have to tell you i felt super pretty just because i had on the most beautiful rosies!

we’re studying lenoardo da vinci right now.  have you read leonardo’s horse?  you should, it’s an amazing story!  anywho, we were pretending i was a patron, and i was commissioning my girls to do art pieces – lily, a field of flowers and gracie, a unicorn.  i was paying them lunch.

i have written and rewritten and rewritten again.  and i think i am done.  not ready, but done.  blog sugar, here i come!

technically, i was still working.  working on my talk and someone just happened to be painting my toes.  which started out as fluorescent orange on the first couple toes until i looked down and asked for a redo.

printing up some of my tags.

i know i’ve shown this scene before, but it gets me every time!  if only you could see the pile of 78 books next to him in bed.

go link up with jeannett.  everyone’s doing it.

I love that book about Da Vinci’s horse! My kids really like it too. If you ever plan a trip to Grand Rapids, MI (whaa? Who goes to GR, right?) check out Leonardo’s horse, sculpted just as he intended at Frederik Meijer Garden and Sculpture Park! It is HUGE and very cool!

I love your rose necklace. Tres chic!
