and the stockings were hung…

introducing the first in my new line of products:  christmas stockings!

i am so excited to be offering these limited edition stockings to you all!

in our house, we do christmas colorful – lime green, pinks, bright reds, turquoise – so i wanted to bring some of that into the shop this year for you!

i also paired up some more modern fabrics for the slightly more subdued of you, with greys and houndstooth!  i think those stockings may be perfect for those teenage boys ready to ditch their old santa and teddy bear embroidered stockings, don’t you?

which one is your favorite?  can’t you just picture one of these matching the personalities of each member of your family?!

I just did a Christmas card for my mom on mixbook and since the kids were wearing hot pink and brown, I used those colors and it made me want to use bright pink more for my holiday decor. So I like the ones with a little pink in them :)

I love these! I crocheted our little family some stockings a couple of years ago and it was a pain. (http://krenee.sksimmons.com/2011/01/why-i-cant-have-more-children.html) Mostly because I was still just figuring out how to crochet at the time. But anyway, now I have another child and I have not been wanting to crochet another stocking…especially because I imagine more children entering in the future and thus requiring more crocheted stockings. Although I am very new to sewing, I imagine this where I want to go with any future stockings, or replacing the ones I made. Love the colors you incorporated and how unique each one of these are!

Love these! Great job, Lindsey. Had to cringe, though, when you referenced teenage boy stockings. Not there yet… but I’m so close I may need to get one of the grey ones for safe keeping. *sigh*
