life rearranged

joining jeannett again at life rearranged for a recap of my week in instagram photos!

more stockings are here – just in time for the queen bee market today!

if you know me in real life, you know i’m not much of a drinker.  unless it closely resembles a smoothie i just don’t love the taste of alcohol.  but i’ve always wanted to go wine tasting even though i can hardly even stand the smell, let alone the taste, of wine – weird, i know.  last friday we got a sitter and snuck away for a daytime wine tasting date with our closest friends.  it was so fun and i even found a wine that i could handle!

the place we went tasting has adorable grounds, and it was a pretty, rainy day – made the whole scene pretty idyllic as we drank our wine and ate yummy sandwiches by the fire.

thanks to the rain, gracie’s soccer game was cancelled so we got some projects done around the house on saturday.  it has been a long time since we’ve done that and it was so fun!

so many of my evenings lately have been spent tying scraps of fabric onto lampshades for the market while watching movies – so relaxing and mindless.

if we get ready quick enough, we love riding our bikes to church.

one of our projects was to prep these frames for my booth – more pics later of what they look like on display!

every few mondays, sean and i sneak away for a quick sushi lunch before i have to pick up the kids.  i think i love sushi more than chocolate.  shocking, isn’t it gussy? ;)

my morning ritual is growing up and now involves coffee.  the kid in me still makes me add hot chocolate, too, so i call it hot choffee.  and it is yum.  see the bloom belts in the background?!

oh the boy gives good smooches.

a coffee date with a friend was just what i needed to break up my night and not stress too much about what i wasn’t getting done!

how was your week?  have you linked up with jeannett yet?

Darn… I just came on to check out your shop for those little boy ties. I see you are closed and at the queen bee market. I know you will do great. Those lamp shades are awesome! I am going to have to plan my next mainland trip around that market. It sounds amazing. Nothing like that here on Maui. Also gotta say I really love these insta Friday posts. They capture little highlights of the everyday that might otherwise be forgotten in the years to come. It’s a treasure to document this for your kids. much aloha, malia

Coffee with Hot Chocolate mix is kinda like a Mocha in my book. So you can totally have a “grown up” morning routine. : )

    Lindsey,

Have you seen a site called stickygram? They turn the instagrams into magnets. Very, very cool :) Made me think of you!

friend, i AM shocked! i can’t get enough lately. i recently found a bag of peanut butter cups, zack clearly tried hiding them from me because i found them at the top shelf in our pantry room. so rude ;D

love your pics! i hope QBM was amazing for you! xoxo

OK, I loved your comment about loving sushi more than chocolate! I’m with you. Of course I am half-Japanese and half-Mexican, so it could be that I am gravitating towards the ethnic thing. My Dad has terminal cancer and I recently did a little post about how we always go to sushi in times of joy or times of crisis. http://delightinginthemoment.blogspot.com/2011/11/when-life-seems-to-get-you-downeat.html. Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! Loved your booth also! Blessings!

One more question…Those picture frames that you prepared for your booth, what is in them? Corkboard? Burlap? Too cute, still trying to get my homeschool room set up.
