monday update

happy monday friends!

we had a wonderful weekend as a family!  sean had been gone all last week so having him home really felt like a treat and we all soaked him up as much as possible.  and he made up for lost time, too: when we got home from church today he told me to take a nap while he took care of lunch for the kids (and he made breakfast in the morning), then i woke up to him doing dishes and cleaning the house!  we spent the rest of the day as a family cleaning the house with occasional breaks for dance parties to ’80’s dance music via pandora – so much fun!  we ended the night with a candle lit dinner that sean cooked – mahi mahi with a pineapple chutney – so yum – and game night.  a lovely weekend overall!

but today reality hits.  i feel like this is “go time” for me and my business as the holiday season is officially upon us (you’ve seen the wreathes and candy cane wrapped light poles in the parking lots, right?).  i am working on a slew of new products that i am really hoping to debut before the queen bee market in less than 2 weeks, but you may just have to wait until i am done with the market to see them online.  or you could just come to the market and see them in person?!

so this week is busy here.  and on top of all of that, it is the end of our first trimester in school and i have progress reports to write and work samples to gather – yikes!

and i mentioned on friday that we had some big decisions to make over the weekend and we made them… but i can’t tell you about it yet!  i snuck in a sneak tweet over the weekend as a teaser, but you’ll have to wait a little longer.  and no, i’m not pregnant. ;)

don’t forget!  you still have a couple more days to enter the evy’s tree giveaway!

and onto the shop update!

i have ipad cases galore!  these new styles are so very fun and would make great christmas gifts.  i’m particularly crazy about the case with the woodgrain base – so pretty!

i have a few bloom belts left from listing them over the weekend.

and i just listed a handful of bloom bags last night!  lots of new colors and even some great fall styles as well!

and i’ll be back tomorrow to share a little office update i did last week… pretty and organized!

I’m coming off a pretty rejuvenating weekend too, so I understand how good that is. I’m glad to hear about yours.

Glad to hear the whole family is back together again. It’s never fun when hubbies are away. I’m lovin’ the wood-grained fabric, too. You have quite a knack for putting fabrics together in just the right way!

So fun to have the family “whole again”. As usual, I love what you came up with on all your new products!! Keep it up. You are inspiring for many of us!!

Questions about your Bloom Bags, do you make the actual bags or do you buy them? If they are bought, are they new or thrifted?

If you move, please be to somewhere that has the internet.

Lindsey, I seriously want an ipad simply so I can get one of your covers.

K, ya wanna hear something really funny.? I have that bag (yellow, white, and brown) as my diaper bag and hear is the funny part- I thought about you when I bought it! Especially funny that I don’t even know you! I am diggin the browns and blacks together! My life parallelled yours last week except for the helpful husband part. You are very blessed :) Mine left again Sunday for a conference but my Mamma is here and made it all better. She is not really the ‘helpful’ type either but its nice to go do stuff together :) Enjoy your week!

BTW, I would take YOUR bag a thousand times over. You would have to make it all cute!
