life rearranged

linking up my phone pics again with jeannett!

my breakfast most mornings: egg muffins packed with veggies – so good!

a fun fabric combo for a little project i was working on for craft weekend goodies – i so wish i was going!

most fridays silas and i get a good long date.  this week’s request was to toss “monies” into the fountain.  so easy to please.  too bad we had to leave due to the second hand high i was getting from the hoodlums hanging out nearby.

on our dates i’ve convinced silas that shopping is fun.  and that we have to hold hands the whole time.

i really want one of these gum ball dispensers from vintage etc.  the other 2 that i have at home need a friend!

not that i need any more globes, but if i did it would be this tin one.

and i love this cookie jar!  its the prettiest shade of green!

i got a few hours to myself on saturday when i took gracie to a drop-off party and i finished off this book.  made me even more excited for india!

game nights are big around here.  sean and i love to play games and are raising our kids to love them too.  its turned out to be a great time to teach lessons, like how to be a good loser, because i don’t go easy on my kids.  i’m serious.  i don’t let them win.  (and i’m a very poor winner, but i’m working on that)

sean was asking me why i moved my “office” out to the dining room table.  this is why.  there’s no way i could get anything done here.  but i had a very productive week and this pile is nearly gone!

lily was teaching silas “kwae-ton-do”.  it was crazy cute.  i chalked it up to “physical education” for homeschool that day.

how was your week?  mine was good and busy and super productive and crafty and all that good stuff.  we have guests coming this weekend and are also expecting rain, so i’ll be practicing my best hostessing skills!

like i said, it was a productive week!

i listed new scarves, tiny pouches, e-reader cases, wristlet clutches, travel tissue cases, petal pushers and bloom belts!

Love the muffins and Silas with a handful of coins!
    Happy Friday Lindsey!

  2. 2

What is Craft Weekend? It sounds like a ton of fun!

  3. 3

Could you tell us more about the muffins?? Recipe or where you buy them? They look delicious! Thank you! Happy weekend!

Is Gracie reading Flat Stanley in the “kwae-ton-do” pic? I’m a nanny and my oldest kid (2nd grade) just finished a unit on that book and loved it! Hope Gracie is enjoying it as well!

    Looks like a fun week!
Random tip for natural peanut butter stirring (saw your post on twitter). I store mine upside down so all the oil is at the bottom when you turn it over AND you can pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds or so and it stirs SO much easier! Of course, if you’re eating it right away, it will be warm, but I’ll take that instead of oil all over my hands and the jar!

Oh, the fabric! Oh, the gum ball machines! Oh, the darling little aqua jar?! Ohing all over the place! Love it.. all of it! It’s my goal to attend a craft weekend sometime. Can’t wait to hear how it goes!

I love these. I wish my phone took pictures that I could upload (my phone is such an oldy). I love that you homeschool. It’s such an encouragement for me to find other modern-moms doing that. I have to littles and I’m leaning towards home schooling.

OH, I love all of that vintage goodness. So pretty. We love games too. Can’t wait till our littlest is old enough to play games like Uno! Wow, you were productive. That’s pretty inspiring!! Happy weekend..

Egg muffins look yummy! Share the recipe please!

Would you please share the egg muffin recipe?

Hi Lindsey!! Obsessed with your blog. I’m really curious how the south beach diet is going! What you eat, and if you’ve lost weight? Do you plan on it being a lifestyle? Thanks for always writing me back – you’re always so sweet!!

i’m a poor winner too. our kids love games (connect four and the new connect four that four people can play, uno, board games, checkers and our favorite is qwirkle). my husband consistantly wins over our nine year old in checkers, but with practice our son is getting better and more strategic with his moves. we just tell them that we are older and have been playing longer so we have more experience. that just makes them try harder and think about their moves… especially in a game that involves strategy.

Those muffins made me hungry. Yum!
I love that cute cookie jar.
I also love your new shop additions! You’re so talented.
    Have a good weekend!!

LOL at the secondhand high! Yuck!!

I really like that cookie jar too, the colour is really pretty. :)

  16. 16

So many pretty colors and patterns!

This week was so fantastic, especially since I pulled of making the lion part of my son’s costume for the mummy wrap (see the latest post for results). My needle was the glue gun, my thread was the glue stick. I’m proud to say my son made the paper mache crocodile head and hippo feet. I say this because some of the costumes I saw at the event were store bought – boo.
