life rearranged

linking up again with jeannett this week,  sharing our phone pics from the week.

this picture makes me laugh – its yet another reminder that i have a hard time finishing things i start.  day 1 of photo-a-day in march “up”.  the first and last day i’ve participated in!

this was the crafty mess lily and i were making when we made our cupcake flags.

all the colors make me so happy!  but i’m pretty sure having a brownie in my hand right now would make me happier!

an elaborate tripping hazard made by the kids

wearing my new necklace… again.  i really like to wear new things a lot when i first get them.

attempt #2 at painting the kids’ bath yellow.  the color is so hard to get right!  and i stopped after a wall and a half with this color because i think its all wrong, too!

we are blessed to have sean work out of the house pretty often when he’s in town.  when he has to take a call, he generally just steps into the backyard to avoid little (very loud) voices in the background.  this particular day he had a meeting and was all dolled up, yet still skateboarding and talking on the phone.

we had a crazy hair day last week.  lily was going for a palm tree/truffala tree look.  have you seen the lorax movie yet?  we took the kids last weekend and it was super cute!

usps delivered a huge pile of boxes – yay!  i love the free mailers you get for shipping priority!

awhile back i surprised the kids with a candlelit dinner.  almost every night they beg me for another one.  so i indulged but asked them to set it up.  without supervision, they set up about 12 candles per person!  just a little over board.

i surprised the kids after school last week with a trip downtown to get cookies and hang out by the creek.

then i dropped them off at gymnasty (what i call gymnastics – it smells like feet) and hung out at starbucks to do some work.  my coffee cuff gifted to me from jeannett (made by knitty bitties) kept me company.

while making dinner, i spotted a happy little corner of my kitchen and wanted to share it.  as much as i love my anthro bowls, i love the green glasses above even more!

do you take pics with your phone?  go link up with jeannett!
