life rearranged

linking up my phone pics this week with my SNAP roomie, jeannett!

friday night cal poly hosted a rodeo.   we had family and friends in town so we all bundled up and went to watch.

it was cooooold!  can you see how blue my lips were?!

a late night playing speed scrabble

saturday we took the kids downtown to the children’s day at the mission plaza.  lily shocked me when she wanted to hold the snake in the nature booth!

one a day.  at least.

boiling eggs for the week ahead.  breakfast.  lunch.  snacks.   easy and healthy!

i had started to get my pj’s on (after all, it was almost 5 o’clock) then i realized i hadn’t gone for  a run yet.  i’m afraid of missing a day because then i’ll quit!

we exchanged our broken cappuccino maker (aka latte maker) and i convinced sean to make me a latte – so yum!

we try to have a quick sushi date on mondays before i pick up the kids from school – nice little tradition we have going!  it only happens maybe a couple times a month, but hey, i’ll take it!

our roses are going nuts right now!  all they needed was rain and a little sunshine!  imagine that…

trying to pack for SNAP.  very little clothes and a lot of product.  i was trying to fit it all into one checked bag and one carry on, but no such luck.  i had to bring an extra suitcase and they both topped out at the max of 50 lbs – yikes!

lily always wants to run with me, so i take her on a quick jaunt around the hood and drop her off before i head out for a few more minutes alone.

it was such a nice morning that i came home from my run to find the kids eating breakfast on the porch!  we have the craziest weather here!

how was your week?  have you shared your phone pics?  go link up with jeannett!

Happy Friday! Visiting from Life Rearranged’s InstaFriday. :)

I love speed scrabble. Have you heard of Bananagrams? It’s basically the same thing – but the tiles are specially designed for that kind of play.

fun pictures! I’ve been reading your blog for a few months and it is so much fun. I like your thought that if you don’t run for one day you may not do it again. That’s exactly what happened to me… after months of running I stopped making it a priority and now it’s not happening. Time to get back out for a run!

We to have been having CRAZY weather up here in Ontario, Can. !!!!!!!!!
