we were blessed with an amazing weekend with incredible weather – like 80*!
after church last sunday we decided to head to the beach while sean went for a long bike ride.
the kids all wore their hand-me-down wetsuits for the first time and loved them!
the girls had on full suits and stayed in the water for over 3 hours!
silas was in a little less since he only had on a think spring suit. the water here is so chilly i don’t even like to dip my toes in!
the kids were on the boogie boards for hours, screaming and laughing!
i am loving that i can just sit in my chair and watch them. i can totally relax and just soak them up.
and i think this guy came home with a few new freckles!
So cute! I love that last picture of Silas is great. I love going to the beach, but often don’t put my toes in either because it’s too cold.

We’re headed to Florida in two weeks (after growing up in Cali it is amazing how WARM the water in the Gulf is – it gets as warm as bathwater come August). Anyway, I think my girls are old enough to get them some boogie boards this year (3.5 and 6). Looks like so much FUN!

Oh I’m looking forward to those days when I can just sit in my beach chair and chill out! Not only is it still like 50 here! But I have a 2 yr old! So it’s going to be still another couple of years before I have to stop hovering!
