hello monday, hello garden

hello hydrangeas, just starting to bloom!

looks like all those coffee grounds i’ve been dumping on you are starting to pay off!

hello colorful reminders of my parents, since they do so much of our gardening!

hello roses at eye level – you are taaaall!

hello salsa barrel!  roma tomatoes and cilantro – yummm!

hello butterleaf lettuce!  and after hours of work this weekend, goodbye weeds (at least in this one section.  do you see the carpet of weeds just behind?  yikes!)

hello setting sun!

hello sugar snap peas, poking your heads out from the soil!  you will provide many a backyard summer snack for my family!

hello little apricot tree!  watch out for impatient little hands, trying to pick you too soon!

hello artichokes!

hello little shady area – and hello caesar!

and since you are my most favorite flower, hello again to more hydrangeas!

linking up with lisa for hello monday!
