what i wore wednesday

welcome to another week of wiww!

i am having a hard time getting my act together this week – sheesh!  i only took 2 pictures – i didn’t even take my camera out when i was at the queen bee market this past weekend (terrible, i know!).

thursday was my birthday and sean’s parents took the kids for the night and sent us to a hotel – yay!  it was so nice having some time away together but made me long for more.  but our time together ended after sean helped me set up for the queen bee friday afternoon and he headed back up to the kids.

top – forever 21

cardi, jeans, and sandals – target

necklace – from the nester

and skip a few days and here we are back at home!  i just finished unpacking everything today and still have a pile in my closet that needs some serious attention, but at least i can make it through my house now without tripping on bags and boxes and the dining table is cleared off enough to have a meal.

top – macy’s

cardi – target

jeans – gap

flats – payless

wanna link up with me?  yay!  just follow the rules:

1. link to your specific blog post, not your blog’s main page. ex: http://thepleatedpoppy.com/2011/09/what-i-wore-wednesday-fall-inspiration/ not http://thepleatedpoppy.com/blog/.
2. please only link outfit related posts. your craft project may be adorable, or that may be a great giveaway, but this linky is for outfit related posts only – thank you!
3. please please please link back here to me so all this wiww stuff makes sense to your readers. and its just nice to do ;) grab a button from my sidebar (see the code box?).
4. check out as many links as possible! i am constantly inspired by so many outfits each week! and you will definitely find some new blogs that you’ve never stumbled upon before – so fun!
i’m also linking up with nina of momma go round for “real momma, real style” – join me there, mkay?

I have learned my lesson, do not rely on Microsoft RSS Feeds to see your latest post. It has shown a new post since June 1st. Just FYI.

    Happy BEE-lated Birthday!

The top with flowers is gorgeous! By the way, are you a runner? You have a runner look about you (it’s a good thing!)

I like both of your outfits! I hope your birthday was wonderful!! For me, I sometimes get dressed but just don’t feel like putting on makeup or fussing much with my hair, and then I don’t take pics on those days, either. So I totally understand.

I love the top in the first outfit. So very cute. And yeah for getting some time alone without the kids, it’s nice to be able to reconnect that way.

This is my first time linking up! I love this series. Your outfits are adorable — and I love that your daughter is wearing an old pair of your shoes. This inspires me to keep special pieces from my girls’ wardrobes for when they become moms. Now, if I’ll actually be able remember where I put everything, it’ll be a miracle …
