what i wore wednesday

welcome to wiww!  this is a home for those of us who need a little motivation to get dressed each day, and also a great place to get inspiration for real outfits for real people!  please take some time to go through the wonderful ladies that link up below.

so.  um… well, i haven’t exactly taken any pictures this week.  we’re at my parents’ house all week and all i’ve worn is pajamas, then a bathing suit, then pajamas again.  i don’t know why i even bothered to pack any clothes!  so this picture is all you get – my shadow of me in a bathing suit and hat, holding a towel and a stack of magazines and a big cup of water.  life’s been rough.

so how about you guys?  did you do any better?  i have definitely found it harder to get dressed during the summer!

wanna link up with me?  yay!  just follow the rules:

1. link to your specific blog post, not your blog’s main page. ex: http://thepleatedpoppy.com/2011/09/what-i-wore-wednesday-fall-inspiration/ not http://thepleatedpoppy.com/blog/.
2. please only link outfit related posts. your craft project may be adorable, or that may be a great giveaway, but this linky is for outfit related posts only – thank you!
3. please please please link back here to me so all this wiww stuff makes sense to your readers. and its just nice to do ;) grab a button from my sidebar (see the code box?).
4. check out as many links as possible! i am constantly inspired by so many outfits each week! and you will definitely find some new blogs that you’ve never stumbled upon before – so fun!

i’m also linking up with nina of momma go round for “real momma, real style” – join me there, mkay?

It is a CRAZY challenge to dress cute when it’s horrifically hot outside! You’re off the hook — glad you got some down time! ;)

  2. 2

nothing wrong with a week in PJs and togs sounds rather wonderful actually!

  3. 3

It’s always harder to dress up when you just want to relax. It’s been more of an effort for me to put an outfit together! Especially on my work at home days….I just stay in my pjs. =)

I’m so glad that Kimberly from Kimberly’s Korner told me about your blog and this link up! So glad to link up and find your blog xoxox

I am headed to my parents’ house next week. I’ll be lucky to even get out of bed while I’m there! My mom feeds and entertains my kids and my dad takes over the dog for me. Its so good to soak up the relaxation so we can return to giving 100% when the week is over.

Ha ha! A swimsuit, pjs and back into a swimsuit sounds like the best vacation wardrobe ever. Hope you’re having a wonderful time!

Haha I love it! My husband and I just got back from a mini vacation and I found myself wearing the same thing over & over again also! My repeats were: swim suit, jean cut-offs, stripped tee and jean jacket. Enjoy the rest of your trip! :)

Oh, me too. The only time I am actually wearing clothes is when I am running errands. Otherwise, I’ve been in my swimsuit and jammies at pretty much all times. ;)
