what i wore wednesday

happy wednesday friends!

if you are new here to wiww, this is where i share my weekly outfits.  its been a motivating way for me to get out of my yoga pants and put a little bit of effort into myself.  so many of you have joined me and are so inspirational!  wanna join me?  just see the rules below!

i’ll be honest – i’m not crazy about this outfit.  it was super comfortable and i love the necklace, but it just felt blah.  some days you win, some days you lose ;)

top – forever 21

jeans – old navy

sandals – mervyns

necklace – crystal b.

i love wearing my hair in 3 buns – its super easy, and the next day my hair is nice and wavy!  all i do is divide my hair into 3 sections then twist each one and pin with about 3 or 4 bobby pins in each.

these are my “fancy” earrings by crystal b. – love them!

t-shirt – target

skirt – gap

flip flops – rainbow sandals

its funny to me how different shoes make an outfit feel!  after wearing these wedges most of the day, i changed into flip flops and felt so much more casual.  overall, i loved this outfit – it was classic and casual, but the details made all the difference:  the wedges and the leather cuff add so much.

t-shirt – forever 21

jeans – forever 21

belt – gap

wedges – old navy

cuff – stacy lynn

necklace – lisa leonard designs

spent the day cleaning out the playroom to get it ready for school.

  16. 16

Boy, do I know what you mean! Some days you win, some days you lose, is right. Sometimes I get dressed three times before I actually walk out the door! Love your hair in the three buns. Love your outfit with the jeans, black t-shirt, and wedges. You look great! Honestly, I always love all your outfits. You seem to have an effortless style that always keeps you looking cute.

Another fun week! Thank you for hosting.

  20. 20

Your second outfit is so cute! I love how you put them together…But my favorite would be your fourth outfit. That is so me! I wish I could have a body like yours though but I would die if I ever try yoga…you could just hear bones cracking. lol! Hope you have a great day ahead! :)

  21. 21

i completely agree about how a wedge and accessory or two can totally change the feel of an outfit! i’ve never been huge on heels or wedges (im tall and not graceful) but ive been trying to wear them more lately, and i have to say i even FEEL a lot better about my appearance!

  22. 22

I love the black tee, jeans, and aviators! You look incredible! Thanks for hosting!

  23. 23

    That ruffled top is gorgeous!

  24. 24

I wear 2 buns like that all the time but I LOVE the triple. Gonna try it soon. Thanks for the inspiration.

  25. 25

Love the buns! I wish I had tried that when I had long hair. Now I just get to spike mine if I’m in the mood. ;)

This is my first time participating. I’m hoping to get my style on more often if I commit to posting about it every Wednesday.

  26. 26

Your style is so cute, very effortless and put together. :)

  27. 27

This week I’m loving the white ruffle shirts (both of them) and your hair down! So pretty!

  28. 28

Cute! I love the second outfit…and the first too, simple is good:)

  29. 29

Love it all as always. Is your 92 target tee a recent purchase? I would LOVE that, its the year I graduated highschool :) I obviously do not get our much to know if its recent or not…

  30. 30

Just stumbled onto your blog, love it! Can’t wait to check out all the reader outfits.

  31. 31

Thanks for continuing to help inspire us all!

  32. 32

Love your outfits as usual! The first one is really cute and comfy looking, not blah at all! And I love both your pink cardi outfit and your adorable yellow dresser. So cool!

  33. 33

Oh Wow! What a great idea to have a link party of “what I wore” I LOVE it. I will have to take a pic and link up. I found you on your guest post over at Thirty Handmade Days and loved the Scavenger Hunt post… it was adorable. I have a link party on Fridays too. It will be live at midnight tonight. I’ll feature your “What I Wore Link Party” (next week) if you’ll link it up. I’ve never done a feature on a link party but I think this is just so original and I’d love to spread the word.

  34. 34

Lindsey, I just want to say thanks for continuing to host this link up week after week. Wednesday is a highlight to come and check up all the creative stylings of other bloggers. It has also inspired me to pay attention to myself and put a little extra effort into ME. I have also connected with other WIWW posters through our respective blogs. It’s a good thing! So thank you!
