as you might have guessed, i have quite a large collection of fabric scraps. and i don’t throw any of it away! i love sorting through my scraps and remembering quilts i’ve made with them, or skirts i’ve made for my girls, or some of my favorite products.
i’ve also created a pinterest board where i’ve collected some really fun ideas to use up all of those scraps! be sure to click on the links below to get to their original source (a few of them are my own!).
oh how i love quilts! i love how an antique craft can be made so modern and fun! i enjoy the whole process of making quilts, from choosing the fabrics, to cutting them, to piecing and pulling it all together.
one thing i realized about this collection of quilt ideas is how much white is in each of them… looks like i’m heading a certain direction with my next quilt!
fabric scrap buntings are a fun and easy way to use up those scraps! and for many of them, you don’t even need to sew! if you can tie a knot or work a glue gun, you can do this!
using scraps in a unique way is so fun, like as a lampshade or pendant!
i have yet to try making a scrappy fabric wreath, but i need to!
i haven’t used fabric on canvas since my family rules canvas, but i think its about time again!
and then there’s all the other little fun projects, all great for gifting! with christmas coming up, these are some great ideas for so many on your list!
phew that is a lot of fun projects! be sure to check out the rest of my pinterest boards as well!
