linking up my weekly phone pics with jeannett – my favorite part of the week! if you’re on instagram, i’m thepleatedpoppy.
i’ve got 2 weeks of pictures here, so bear with me!
lily was a trooper with the flu. she was actually a great patient and i think rather enjoyed getting the ipad all to herself to watch shows all day.
my little photo bomber. all of these baby blankets went into the shop this week, and some of them are on their way to new homes!
then i got the flu. blargh. but i had sweet cards from each of my babes to cheer me up.
i had such a busy week, what with stitch market prep and lots of new inventory going in the shop – just in time for the 12 deals of christmas!
i had all these “new products” at the stitch market, but they sold out! do you know what they are? i’ll have more for you soon!
i love christmas posy pins! its so fun to put pretty obnoxious colors together and no one questions it! they will be available in just a couple days as a gift with purchase. keep checking here…
oh this market was a good one! but it also kicked my tail! after over 5 years of doing this market, i am still learning something new every time.
lots of sitting around was my coping mechanism to deal with market exhaustion. these homemade cinnamon & sugar marshmallows helped, too.
sean was so excited to put up the christmas lights this year… since he left them up since last year!
at our growth group christmas party, all the younger kids went up on the balcony and sang christmas carols. it was one of those nights where i was so in love with all the kids, where everything they did was adorable!
we are a game family. it is so fun now that the kids are all getting old enough to play more types of games. this week we played animal rummy with them. i think these cards were hand-me-downs? but aren’t they adorable?!
go now and enter jeannett’s big giveaway. go. and while you’re there, please donate, even just $1 to help sweet yana. our donations help to fund her adoption, so when the perfect family chooses her, they will be blessed by all of their adoption funds being met. how awesome is that?!
the kids asked randomly to look at our wedding album, which has sadly been collecting dust. they especially liked my leopard print shoes!
i love decorating for christmas! more details to come next week.
one set of floral infinity scarves sold out just in time for my next batch to launch! these scarves are out of a tissue weight fabric with a sweet floral print – love!
after getting irritated at my girls for taking forever to put away their clothes and do their laundry, i decided it was time to edit. my plans for the day were delayed by a few hours and we cut down their clothing options by about 50%. they were troopers and were actually happy to have more room to put their clothes away.
i got a few hours to myself to finish up our christmas shopping. i went ahead and did sean’s shopping for him, too ;)
we are off of school for the next 3 weeks – YAAAAAAY! i am so looking forward to the extra down time with my family!
