linking up my phone pics with jeannett! i’m thepleatedpoppy on instagram.
craft weekend at meg’s house was so inspiring! i’ve already rearranged 2 rooms in my house…
joy and i went as helpers and part of my job was to organize craft supplies. dream job!!
choosing fabric is a favorite of mine, and picking mine out for my ruffled apron did not disappoint! meg had a huge selection of fabric for us to choose from.
kimberlee is an amazing cook, and everything she made was so yummy! pam’s cheesecake with coffee was a belly pleaser.
i didn’t need the red letters in the background to tell me what to do with these cinnamon rolls.
a very cold day antiquing resulted in a couple more jars and a globe. the globe is the prettiest green ever.
having this time with joy was such a treasure!
i got to lead a craft and taught the ladies how to make my “inspired canvas“. its been so fun seeing so many on instagram since the weekend!
a craft i could’ve done over and over, these adorable covered button bracelets that meg taught us how to make.
happy accident with all of us in coordinating outfits!
one bad thing about living in a small town: it usually takes at least 3 flights to get anywhere!
back home, back to work! i listed several new scarves this week – some with flowers, some with teensy dots, some with silvery shimmer!
naughty girl had to go and grow up! the 2 missing teeth are k i l l i n g me!
time to make more posy pins!
this boy has the worst bed head! every morning it points straight up!
silas and my dad were goofing off with some of my fabric boxes, and then i heard the door bell ring. special delivery at my door!
i put the finishing touches on the sign at our school. i’m so happy with how it turned out!
i have been waiting to start on some projects for the girls’ room, so i just decided to get on it!
gold! i can’t wait to get started on more projects! deco art paints have the prettiest metallics!

Aw the bed head is too adorable! Also great fabric picks for the aprons! Can’t wait to see end results~
The Occasional Indulgence
I would LOVE to see a tutorial on how to make that button cover bracelet – LOVE it!!
I’m a first grade teacher and would LOVE to have your “educating for life” art. Are you selling these? I love it!
Do you cut all the fabric for the posy pins by hand?? Because wow! That’s a lot of cutting, I would so lose interest long before that was done! :)
i used to cut them all by hand, by my wrists are shot now and i invested in a huge die cut machine to do the work for me!
Ahhh… the coveted aprons…I love to see all of the finished products when they’re done. I would also love to go to Craft Weeked, if just to see the Craft House!! But not in the cards for me. Anyway, your fabric choices were beautiful! And the missing teeth! I know! My little seven year old boy just lost one last week and I almost cried. Why, why, why do they have to grow up? :)
Love the picutre of Silas outside your door.
I’m kind-of addicted to instagram!! I loooove it.
Looks like you had an amazing time at craft weekend! :-)
Craft weekend looks like the bomb! Sounds like you had a blast. And all that cut fabric for your posies, so lovely!
Oh my goodness-the picture of Silas on your doorstep is adorable. His smile is priceless:) Happy weekend!
What lovely photos! I now have about 10 tabs open so I don’t miss the links to any of these great projects/ideas/inspirations. I just discovered your blog and can’t wait to read more!
basically after reading this last post…I have officially drawn upon the conclusion that you should adopt me. I would be a really easy child. I am already married and have my own house. You would just be obligated to make (or help me make) all the amazing things you do! So…possibly? Maybe? Never? haha Loved the pics.
