We are in desperate need of a new car. Like REALLY desperate. We are just waiting for my current car to breathe it’s last, so to speak. It is old, not worth much and it has an expensive transmission problem. So…. we are going car shopping on Monday and I would put the $1500 towards a larger down payment or a really large payment on the loan to get us started with a bang. Or…. maybe I would be completely frivolous and buy a new couch! ;)

  4. 4

This is so generous of you all! I have a few friends’ wedings coming up this year and would use the money to pay for bridesmaid dresses, bachey party trips, showers/gifts. 90. 91

My mom and I are going to Italy in June for the first time in either of our lives. It is going to be an amazing experience but also an expensive one! I also just submitted over $4,000 to my college for my FINAL tuition check EVER! This money would help to cover my rent this semester and some would definitely go towards Italy!

  91. 92

I would put it towards our never ending, going on 3 years now major kitchen remodel we are desperately trying to finish on a very tight budget with any volunteers we find. It was unexpected/but necessary due to mold we found in our newly purchased house. What was supposed to be our Dream forever home, has now turned into our living cash draining nightmare we hope we are able to sell after all this, at the end of the year! Prayers needed!

  92. 93

  100. 101

  101. 102

I would love to go on a vacation with my boys!! We could use some R & R!!!!

  109. 110

I would freak out! Haha, yeah, can’t think past that. :)

  110. 111

Wow! What a generous giveaway! We have two funds going right now…..one for a much needed new sofa and one for a BIG family vacation. We have five teenagers which makes airline and hotel trips expensive! For this reason, our family vacations have always been road trips. Thankfully California has a lot to offer without going too far. We are saving for a real vacation before they are all out of the house. Thanks for hosting…and for the awesome inspiration you provide daily!

  121. 122

  129. 130

Seeing as my fiance and I always have company over, my dryer just fizzled out after running tons of sheets/blankets in it. So we’d buy a dryer and some probably new fun decor items!

  166. 167

No question, I’d put it towards my August wedding. I feel guilty because I have been blessed with amazing parents who are willing to pick up the check for the entire thing and I work for a nonprofit. If you don’t know, first year nonprofit employees do not exactly rake in the dough. I would love to be able to help my parents out, then maybe they would spend the money they save on themselves like they deserve! :)

  167. 168

I would get some new eyeglasses. And share some with my family.

  168. 169

WOW. My hubby and I are doing Dave Ramsey’s financial peace and we are {this} close to being dept free and to do so we’ve been on a crazy tight budget with no room for fun trips. So, I think I’d put it towards a vacation we’ve been desperately wanting to take this year!!

  525. 526

    Vacation fund : )

  530. 531

I would use it to take my babes to Disney – we’ve been saving and saving and this would be the icing on the cake!!! Thanks so much for the giveaway!

  531. 532

Hmmm……..that’s a tough one! I would have to say I would buy myself and my new baby girl (due in 4 weeks) some cute new clothes. After that…..maybe a little vacation for the family : )

    Kendra Wiley says:

I would use the $1500 to some projects around the house OR to save for our 15 year anniversary trip that we want to take next February!

  535. 536

This is so awesome! Thanks for doing this. What a way to bless others. If I won the $1500, I would split it 3 ways. We recently moved into my Grandmother-in-laws with our 2 sons so that my husband could take a new job to better our family. He is a mortgage loan officer and times have been a little tough. But through this whole transition period in our life, God has used it to open huge doors. He has put in our hearts a love for the homeless here in the KC area. We have started a ministry (my husband, two sons 11 and 3, and myslef) called ahopeforthehomelss. We drive around passing out food, coats, personal items etc. to those living on the streets, all in the name of Jesus. It has really given our family a since of how much we have to be greatful for. So I would put $500 toward our ministry, $500 towards our bills since my husband is working so hard to pay off the debt and still allowed me to stay home and homeschool our kiddos and I would do something special for my sons. They have been such little troupers through all of this. Thanks again for the chance to win. This is such a special thing you are doing!

  536. 537

This giveaway is amazing…Wow! It’s better than a tax return check. I don’t know what I would spend the money on the options are too many to count…again Wow!

  537. 538

i think i would keep it tucked in my wallet to buy myself all the little things i talk myself out of because the money could be spent better (cute new shoes, ice cream!, a pedicure, etc.).
i’d also like to buy something for my friends in dayton. they house at-risk girls who are homeless and facing some seriously tough situations in life. they are always looking for small gifts to give the girls as rewards for good behavior, being responsible, making the right decision, etc.

  538. 539

There are endless possibilities (well maybe not endless) but nonetheless a part of me would want to hold onto it for a rainy day. Another part would want to spend it all on my classroom for my firsties. Another part of me would want to spend it on my almost 2 year old and newest addition that will be joining us in July. I’d also love to use it for diy projects around my house. =)

  539. 540

I’m not even sure what I’d do with it. My first reaction was buy/build a garden!

  540. 541

Hi Lindsey! I love your blog and all your creations! So adorable :)

If I won the $1500 I would save some of it for a trip for me and my boyfriend…I am currently finishing my credential for EC spec. ed. and have had no time to go on a mini vacation! So i think a little trip to San Fran. would be amazing! I would then use the extra $ to hire an investigator and find my birth parents. I have been wanting to for a few years now but have not had the $ so that would be a great help!

What an awesome & amazing giveaway!

  545. 546

OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Where in the world would I start? There are soooo many projects around the house that I want to tackle but I still have some hefty medical bills from baby #3. Maybe I could split it up. Thanks for the opportunity!!!

  546. 547

Ha, I just read the above comment. I just had baby #3 as well, so I would start with bills. But definitely wouldn’t spend it all in one place ;)

  547. 548

1500$ ? Wooza ladies, that’s one giveaway to remember :) I don’t even know what I would do with that kind of money in my pocket :) Bills? But that’s not fun! Probably a nice little trip somewhere !

  548. 549

  550. 551

As a student in grad school the extra $1500 would help out A LOT. I wouldn’t spend it all in one place. I think instead I’d use it as an “emergency fund”. There are times in the month where no matter how hard I stretch, it seems like I don’t have enough money to pay all the bills I have. I’d keep this to help with those not so fun times. :)

Thanks for the great giveaway! And CONGRATULATIONS to whoever wins! :)

  590. 592

It’s hard to say but I’d consider putting it towards furniture and some gifts for some friends and small group members!

  597. 599

$1500 would be a blessing. We need a new kitchen sink and faucet …well we have needed one for several years…there is rust and leaking involved…. we also need a new closet door for our bedroom and our sons……the broken ones are shamlessly sitting together ……. my fingers and toes are crossed. 605. 607

Oh. my. dream come true. I’m not sure what I would do with the money! The options seem endless. It’s a toss up between something practical, like putting it toward the new ac/furnace we just replaced (because the old ones were hazardous to our health), or something super splurgy and decadent, like a trip for the whole family. Who am I kidding; definitely the trip!

  606. 608

$1500 would help with my wedding this year! Or Honeymoon :)

  607. 609

I’d take the fam on a fabulous spring break vacation.

  608. 610

I’d either spend money on a trip for the family, or stuff for myself. both are pretty selfish.

  609. 611

being a stay at home mom, i never make any money and therefore never have any money to spend on my husband. his birthday is coming up in two weeks and i so badly want to buy him a bicycle to ride with me and the kids this summer. he deserves it so much. i would spend some of the money on that for sure.

  610. 612

How awesome! i’d use it to by home stuff- we are trying to buy a different house which will undoubtedly need work.

Hi I would buy a farm table I have been dreaming and drooling over for months :-)

  614. 616

funny that i read this right after church where we talked about stewardship.
i’d like to say that i’d spend the money on something fun and exciting for me…
    but hearing the sermon tonight…
i feel like if it was me that won, i’d give it away to someone who needs it.
it sounds trite but i feel like i do indeed win… i will promise to pay it forward to someone who needs it.

  615. 617
    Allie Hosea says:

    What a generous giveaway!!!

  616. 618

I’d use it to get our backyard lanscaped before our daughter’s first birthday! That way we can focus on the million other projects we have on our list!

  617. 619

I would use it to buy my daughter a decent mattress that she can actually be comfortable on and to catch up on bills. I am an unemployed teacher, so this would be MAJOR.

  618. 620

I would love to win this….1500 smackers would be so awesome right about now!

  619. 621

Wow, I guess first of all I would freak out if I won! My parents have some medical bills that they could use some help paying off. And I could definitely put some toward a couple of my bills as well. Not very exciting but I definitely would be excited about it! And there would probably be some set aside for a fun night out with friends.
Thanks so much for setting this up. I love reading your blog and especially look forward to instafridays. That got me started using Instagram!

  620. 622

  622. 624

New camera with extras and Silhouette Cameo!!!!

  623. 625

I would spend it on a vacation. My husband and I usually visit family when we travel, so it would be WONDERFUL to travel somewhere new. :)

  624. 626

I’ve been wanting to focus on my blog as a business, but have lacked the funds to really do the things I’d love to do. I would spend most of the money doing that, but I’d also do something for myself.

I rarely put myself on my to do list and one of my goals this year is to incorporate myself into my day more. I would make sure to do that with this. A new outfit, a pedicure, something that is only for me.

Can’t wait to see who wins!
    Jen @ Noting Grace

  626. 628

I would pay off the Home Depot bill!!! Woohoo!!!

  627. 629

I’d put it toward building another side of my creative business. I love what I do, but big new ideas sometimes take an injection of cash and this would certainly help in that regard!

    Have a wonderful day!

  628. 630

We are going to be starting a kitchen upgrade soon…boy could I use this :)

  629. 631

This is such an awesome giveaway! I would use the money to pay for school, and buy a better camera so I can further develop my blog! Thanks!

  640. 642

Oh My!! First I would use some of the money for a trip me and my mother are taking to NYC so I can give her an all expenses paid trip. She deserves something wonderful like that! Then I’d use the rest to join our local hospital fitness center. I could use some extra fitness. Thank you for the opportunity to win.

  641. 643

hmmm….maybe take a photography class, or put it toward becoming certified as a yoga instructor, but I think I would do a little shopping on your site too! thanks for this generous contest.

  654. 656

    a vacation with my husband!

  655. 657

I would use it to finally set myself up a workstation! I have no desk or space of my own. All of my craft supplies are in the garage and I set up shop in the dining room anytime I craft. Pain in the butt!

  656. 658

In a dream world, I would use it to finally go on a honeymoon with my husband (four years later), but in the real world, it would probably get used to pay my taxes or some other debt.

  658. 660

  661. 663

I’d add it to my vacation/travel fund for this year. I’m trying to plan trips with my parents and girlfriends and $1500 would go a LONG way in adding to the fund! (Sorry if this is a repeat post! Had issues with the comment form…)

  662. 664
    Laura Stanley says:

I would put it towards decorating our home. We’ve been in this house for over two years now and most of our walls are bare, our furniture is second (or third!) hand. It would be nice to walk into my bedroom and not see it as the catch-all room!

I would plan a fun family vacation for the summertime!

  664. 666

I would take my little family on a much needed weekend getaway. We are going on a mission trip to Cambodia and fundraising is taking over our lives :) And then use the rest towards our cambodia mission trip.

Would use it to help my daughter who is in her first year of college…and perhaps buy some new fabric for my stash!

    Thanks for an incredible giveaway!!!

This money would help my husband and I so much! We are in the process of buying a home and are working very hard to save our down payment! Thanks so much for the awesome giveaway!

It would help with the bills. I’m in grad school working full time with out getting paid so any bit helps!

Like you, first I’d freak out but how would i spend it? My daughter’s in college – ’nuff said :)

After I finished freaking out… We “need” to replant and landscape our backyard. Our rescue greyhound has turned it into a mud pit race track! I would “WANT” to take the money and run away for a little weekend with my hubby to celebrate our upcoming 15th wedding anniversary and his 18th year living cancer free (we met and started dating during his treatment for a malignant brain tumor) <3

It’s been so long since I’ve had extra cash that wasn’t earmarked for something! But I am trying my best to save money for a girls trip to NYC this year with my BFF and this would make it so easy!! And if that didn’t work out…I would repaint and redecorate my house. :)

My husband and I have been saving to pay off debt so we can have a baby, and are about there… so I would hold onto the $1500 for a few more months until we’re pregnant, then have a baby shopping spree! :)

Put it in savings for a new house. Our growing home-educating family of 7 would enjoy more space inside and outside!

It sounds so boring-but I would use the money to pay off debt. We’re in the process of paying off so we can start saving. I wish it could go to a vacation, though!
