the kids ask all the time to use glitter.  i say no almost every time.  this time i wasn’t quick enough with a good excuse so i said yes, but only if she did it outside.  mean mommy.

its been chilly here, so my “office” has moved to sitting on the hard floor in front of my fireplace with my laptop.

sean is still on his bread making kick – yay!  as soon as he decides on his favorite recipes (still trying a bunch out), i’ll post them all.

at about 10:30 on a homeschool day, i was literally nodding off.  i realized then that i never had my morning coffee!  i guess i depend on caffeine more than i realized!  an extra large cup/bowl was called for…

so my favorite part about instafridays is remembering all the happy through the week.  because some weeks are tough, and its good to remember the good.

we randomly had some extra time before school (so rare!), and the kids started singing “cotton eyed joe” that they learned from a friend’s “just dance”.  aaaaand then they started dancing – hilarious!

as i mentioned before, i’m making small efforts to being a better friend.  and there are lots of women in my life that i rarely see that bring bright spots to my day, through their blogs or instagram or emails.  so i grabbed a handful of mugs from target (i HAD to) and some necklaces i bought from groopdealz over christmas.  i’m writing little notes and then they’ll be off in the mail!

i’m thinking the cashier picked up on my grumpiness, and she was so sweet to invite silas to help her scan our groceries – he was thrilled!

because i love her fabric, i follow sarah jane from sarah jane studios on instagram.  she just started a daily drawing link and i’m going to attempt to jump in!  i love to doodle and haven’t drawn much in years, other than for product design, so i think this will be good for me!  if you want to link up too just add #365dailydrawings to your insta pic.

wearing a bandana headscarf helps with the creative process in cursive writing.  proven fact.

this horse at gracie’s riding lesson just wanted all the attention!

ok, friends… its almost time for the weekend!  the kids and i are going to see a few thousand butterflies today, walk on the beach, maybe a trip to the skate park and work on science projects.  sounds fun!  (need caffeine.)

That display of mugs makes me want to run to Target!! I am a sucker for mugs.
PLEASE share bread recipes. I have also been on a bread making kick. My kids are loving it!

    Lily is gorgeous.
All of your kids are beautiful, but that bandana picture KILLS me.
Also, you better not have let them play with Martha glitter! Regular clumpy janky glitter is fine…but not Martha glitter. Just making sure.
I love instafridays for the same reason. Sometimes I don’t feel like doing it, but then I realize what a fun week we had, or sweet moments I caught.
    Peace out.

I am in love with those Target mugs, too!! And I think that it’s really cool that the cashier let your son help scan the groceries (:

Your friends will love the gifts. That is so sweet of you. I also have a soft spot for pretty coffee mugs. You really are an inspiring person, and I hope you realize that.

you seriously must be super mom! I have no idea how you do all of this, I think you’re kids are pretty lucky to have you! My mom had a full time job and could rarely put a home cooked meal on the table… I think the next gen of moms are stepping up their game big time, and I can’t wait to see what children we are going to produce :) Keep it up, and I love your blog!
