if you know one thing about me, its that i like to start things and am really bad about finishing. like the #365drawings i mentioned last week. i’ve done 3. and this one i traced, so i didn’t even really draw it. #cheater
i cleaned off my desk! and since a paperless, mess-less desk is a rarity, a picture was necessary.
but just to the right of my desk was my cutting table, piled high! totally completely unworkable.
i call this shot “look mom! we’re not bickering!”
this one is called “it’s my half birthday, so we get to have dessert!”
mmmmm, the best.
and then the others piled on.

they didn’t believe me when i said i had footie jammies, so i had to prove it in a string of texts.
but i do wear real clothes! this was my favorite outfit this week.
i got in a bunch of new fabric this week and this is some of my favorite!
we’ve switched up our schedule a bit, trying to keep/find the balance. we’ve taken gracie out of gymnastics while the other 2 are in it, and she and i have an hour together to focus on homeschool. an hour alone with this girl is pure joy. even if it is while teaching grammar.

this was a snuggly week. ok, snuggly was also a great excuse to cover up my nappiness. i was so sleepy this week that i fell asleep snuggling gracie in front of the fireplace after schooling. then i followed that up with some snuggling with lu on the couch while i tried to wake up. still trying to get back on the new wake-up-early schedule…
i should really be doing the #365drawings for gracie since she doesn’t go a day without drawing! i’ve been working on challenging her a bit more lately, so i was pulling out some things i remember from my college drawing classes.
i think this day i had about 7 hot drinks since it was so chilly, so when i sat down to draw for a bit while sean read to the kids, all i could think of was hot drinks!
wanna know how wonderful instagram is? i had someone comment that they liked my makeup in this pic. filters are awesome!!! i only had on mascara! if only everyone could see me through instagram filters my getting ready time would only take about 5 minutes!
it was 1:30 and i realized i hadn’t fed the kids lunch yet. oops. so i whipped up some nasty good for the kids. and then i made a bowl up for myself.
i’ll be honest, i only made it halfway through the bowl before i had to push it aside. it was so yummy at first, and then…. blech.
i got this pretty orchid delivered this week – such a fun gift!

Ooooh, I love your footie pajamas!!! I got my first set for my birthday last November from my hubs. Then another one for Christmas also from hubs (he really does love me!) and now I have a third (he we out and bought it for me on a very bad day I was having). I practically live in them, lol. I don’t ever wear them to actually sleep in, just around the house. I live with chronic pain, bloating, etc. from a number of health problems and footie pajamas are the ideal solution. Especially because I have a healthy streak of 5 year old still in me, despite the fact that our daughters are all older than that, LOL. Mine all came from Target. The footie part on each of them is done up as an animal head — sock monkey, leopard, and fox. I know, it’s the very antithesis of WIWW, but it’s so “me” :D
What is it about Kraft Blue Box that it gets “blech” as it cools down? The first few hot bites are so good, then…nasty.
