jeannett thought it would be fun to tag some of us to do selfies (self portraits). i thought i’d play along, but since my face thinks i’m 15 somedays and was broken out, this was the best i could do! i think we all agree that wrinkles, grey hairs, and zits should not coexist.
we had a girls night last weekend! we love taking little esther for the night. after all, some day she’ll be my daughter-in-law ;)

the girls all dressed alike and choreographed a dance. i totally remember doing this when i was little!

my parents were here this week, so we got a date night – yay! somehow, we always end up at the book store – something for him, something for me.
sean made us GIGANTIC heart shaped pancakes for valentines day.
we went out to morro bay with my parents on valentines day and rented a little boat to ride around the bay in with some drinks and appetizers. i love my family!

I totally agree – wrinkles, grey hairs and zits should NOT co-exist. Unfortunately, I have all of them. So unfair. Love the photos. The girls dancing – so sweet. Love your room too. Have a wonderful weekend!

My once a month tiny pimple problem recently turned into an acne nightmare. After 3 months of looking like I was 14, I finally started researching adult acne and stumbled upon an archived article from Fitness magazine. It recommended a salicylic acid wash followed by a benzoyl peroxide spot treatment. I picked up two Neutrogena products at Target, and within two days my acne was almost gone. I just had to share this miracle cure, as I wholeheartedly agree that acne, wrinkles and gray hair should not co-exist!
You should not have to fight zits in your 30′s. It’s ridiculous!!! Anyway, you have a beautiful family and I wish we could get out on a boat….it’s a little cold here in Ohio!!!

I loved dressing like my sisters/friends and preforming. It’s fun to see other girls doing just that as well! :-)
Slow Saturdays are the best.. waking up whenever & enjoying a homemade breakfast + coffee.. I usually do waffles. Totally choreographed dances with friends when I was a kid too! Nice to see the tradition lives on ;)
Love the heart pancakes. My husband has been known to pour the batter onto a cookie tray and shove it in the oven making one gigantic pancake. :)
