i’m a big fan of letting my kids dress themselves. i rarely have an opinion on what they wear, and i like it that way! i also rarely go clothes shopping for them, either, thanks to a steady stream of hand-me-downs (yay!).
when children’s place contacted me about a little online shopping adventure with them, i jumped at the chance to pick outfits that fit my kids’ personalities and style.
i also love that children’s place is super affordable!
lily is my stylish one. she loves choosing her outfits, and she puts together combinations that i would never think of! she is the queen of pattern mixing, so i knew that this striped cardigan and floral skirt would be perfect for her. she is also known to wear tutus for days on end, so this tulle skirt fit the bill. our family is fair-eyed, so we love our sunnies! lily’s are hot pink with rhinestones. footless tights with eyelet trim and color blocked flats finish off her outfit.
silas is our little grom. he would happily wear shorts and a skate shirt everyday, but surprisingly, he likes to dress up for church! he loved his sunglasses because they are the same as mine. this was his first pair of “skinny” jeans and they are so cute on him! i also love the button down shirt layered with the sweater – lily already asked him if she could borrow his shirt! he loved his socks that he can pull up high – we love fun socks in our house!
grace (not gracie anymore!) doesn’t care a ton about what she wears, but loves wearing anything she thinks looks like something i would wear. the coral skinnies, denim jacket, and scarf were perfect for her! i think i may even have to borrow that scarf from her – so cute! the jeans were super stretchy, which worked for grace since she is super slim. the graphic tee kept the outfit appropriate for a little girl and the sparkly sandals are a great mix of a grown up style, with girly glitter.
go check out children’s place. their stuff is seriously so affordable – i mean the sunglasses are only $3! happy shopping!
