linking up my weekly phone pics with jeannett again! i love keeping this little journal of our weekly bits. i’m thepleatedpoppy on instagram if you want to follow along!
while we were up in lake arrowhead i was able to spend some time with gracie, one on one. we decided to draw each other and it was so fun! this was gracie’s picture of me.
i had so much fun staring into this cute little almost 10 year old face for an hour!
when the kids went to bed it was time for the fun! sean’s family is so much fun and i love spending time with them! we were pretty serious about our farkle games!
this was our weekend view. awe.some.
silas decided to stand on the sled, only when he hit the jump his sled stopped and he kept going!
just because she’s so stinkin’ cute.
one of my favorite things to do is pick out the perfect covered button to go on each posy pin. its just a tiny detail, but i love doing it!
fabric day!
i so rarely clean out my fridge. its just not where i want to spend my time that i will never get back. but the lovely people at fridge coaster sent me these pretty coasters for my fridge! i cleaned out the whole fridge and now every time i open the fridge i just think it looks so good!
silas is the king of “nuggles”. i still manage to convince him that they are a necessity most days. the face buried into my neck is a long time favorite ;)
a friend needed to borrow some globes for a shower she was throwing. i just love how different they all are and how pretty they are together.
every year our school has a fundraiser auction. the theme is always based on the history we’re studying. since we’re currently studying the westward settling of our nation, our theme is the wild west! we goth this amazing barn for our venue! i’ll definitely share more pics as we finish setting up.
we spent a few hours pretending we were florists as we put together all the centerpieces.
my dad has had this clock in his dental office as long as i can remember. since he’s nearing retirement and has moved into a new building, his clock needed to find a new home – mine! i love the orange-y red color!
san luis obispo has a great farmer’s market that is year round. we just happened to be there on a night that the cal poly marching band decided to march down the middle of the street!
it was one of those nights that i was just so happy living where we are – being with my family, eating messy bbq street food in the street, watching street performers, family all around. just happiness.
we have a crazy busy weekend of prepping for the fundraiser and finishing science projects. i hope you have a good one!

Polka dots every time you open your fridge? YES PLEASE! :) Have a great weekend!
So much fun to look at these pictures and get the feeling of being part of your like :-)
Have a wonderful weekend
Love

I love the fridge coasters. I had just cleaned my fridge when I saw the pic. I may just have to buy some.

I’ve visited San Luis Obispo many times and LOVE the farmers market! It’s been way to long since I’ve been there. We camp in San Simeon every summer and try to make it to the farmers market while we are there but didn’t get to the last couple of times. :)
I just love your Friday pics! They always make me smile. Didn’t realize your dad is a dentist. I am a hygienist:)
I think I nearly had a heart attach when I saw the chevron and polka dotted fabric in your collection. I can’t take it! PS – I love your new/old clock!
Fun fabric choices! Makes me want to start another sewing project.
I love those fridge coasters! I can’t remember the last time I cleaned my fridge. Gross, I know.
did you get bbq from the guys who are so entertaining? we traveled thru SLO in Jan & went to the farmer’s market & it was great. my husband’s bbq pork sandwich would have fed our family of 4 :)
and plastic placemats make good fridge coasters :)
