happy wednesday! welcome to “what i wore wednesday” a happy little linky where we gather to inspire and encourage one another to take a few extra minutes to get dressed each morning in “real” clothes – no more sweats or yoga pants! its amazing what taking pictures of yourself every day can do to your style. you are spurred on to try new things and gain a new confidence. join us!
our week started off pretty rainy, but now its in the high 70*s – crazy weather!
sweater & shirt – forever 21
jeans – target
boots – old navy
camera strap – knitty bitties
{yes, i still badly need to clean my mirror!}
necklace – lisa leonard
my latest trick for getting dressed quickly is to re-wear something i wore from the day before. since i’m out of the sticky-toddler-fingers-getting-wiped-on-my-pants stage i can actually wear pants a few times before i need to wash them. same with most shirts.
i just swapped out sweaters and boots and i was good to go! well, and socks and undies and undershirts, too.
sweater – forever 21
boots – steve madden (called sonnya)
(this pic was taken on my parents’ loft behind our house – they have the best view!)
church
cardigan – target
shirt – banana republic
jeans – forever 21
wedges – old navy
bracelets – world market
necklace – groopdealz (similar)
after church we pile dour bikes in the car and rode the bob jones trail all the way to avila and back. with an ice cream stop in the middle. of course. this picture doesn’t show it, but it was packed at the beach and on the boardwalk!
shirt – forever 21
jeans – forever 21
converse – nordstrom rack
easy outfit for work and running the kids around to ballet and gymnastics
v-neck – forever 21
dotted skinnies – target
bow-backed flats – payless
necklace – lisa leonard
bracelet – everyday icing

Your parents view looks awesome and I’m envious of the bike ride! Love the bow back shoes!
This is my first time looking up, and I am a new follower :-)
I love your cardigans and the shirt from Banana Republic!
Loving those polka dot skinnies, Lindsey! Thanks so much for hostessing today!!! ~Sarah
love how you rock some layers and i must get a pair of those skinnies in my closet! enjoy your day!
You are a master of layering! I need to take some lessons from you. And you’ve now officially made me want a bike. Immediately. :)
Love them all! It looks so nice and warm in that bike photo. It’s snowing here in Ohio today! :/
I love your outfits this week, Lindsey! My favorite is the plaid shirt with the mustard sweater! I also love the simplicity of your outfit with the printed pants. Cute!
I love the gingham and mustard combo! And kudos for re-wearing clothes…I absolutely love my toddler, but I can’t wait for the day where my clothes don’t smell like cheesey goldfish fingers have been wiped on them :) A girl can dream!
I love the old navy rain boots you have, so stylish! The sweater and all of your other boots, need to shop your closet! LOL Thanks for hosting!

I do that same trick, with re-wearing clothes and just swapping an item or two (and underpinnings) out!
Love the bike pic. So envious of your sunshine and weather. Sigh.
YAY! Finally someone has admitted it with me, I wear the same three pairs of pants all week long. So simple & smart. Um, I never post my whole week because it would look all super similar… so just WEDNESDAYS outfit. lol. Saves on laundry too!
Thanks so much for hosting What I Wore Wednesdays!
Hey, I’ve got some similar wellies as you. I switched out the laces with ribbons for fun.

Being from Upstate NY, I am beyond jealous of your sunny weather!! Send some our way pretty please! I always love your style as well.
Hi there, what a fun linky! I’ve linked up for the first time as getting dressed up is my favourite thing about going back to work after my kiddies. My pics are nowhere near as good as yours though!
I am guilty of the same thing (wearing items twice in a week); although I don’t have kids. On the weekends it’s often easier to thing of a top I wore to work during the week than come up with a fresh outift!

I love this idea, such a cute post. Plus I love that colorful front door rug, I just bought one at Target, it’s nice and spring-y.
Love your 2nd outfit (and that it’s day 2 of half of it… brilliant!!)
I have to tell you that I was born and lived in California til I was 6. I barely even remember any of it, but I swear, when I see some pictures on your blog, it makes my heart sick, like I’m homesick for something I only remember way way deep down inside me somewhere.
I love your outfits. I went out and purchased that gingham shirt from F21 because of your post last week!
It’s a tie for my favorite outfits. The first and last are so cute! You look great!
Love your polka dot pants!! :)
You are too cute! I love the plaid shirt!
The 70s!?!!? Jealous!

This is such a fun link-up! I’ve been following your blog for quite a while and I finally started one of my own so I can finally join in! I am so excited to start participating in the WIWW link-up. Mine is a modest little thing because it’s still a baby, but I would love for you to stop by and visit sometime! I’ll see you next week for my first link! :)
