i’m linking up my phone pics again with jeannett!  i’m thepleatedpoppy on instagram if you want to follow along.

while all of my insta pics from last week were from our trip to france, i want to put them all in a trip recap, so today you get all the befores and afters ;)

instafriday at the pleated poppy

this is how the scrappy bunting arrives at your door, all pretty and wrapped up.  i just spent hours last night working on more scraps for another big batch, so you better check the shop early next week for the next batch to be listed!

before we left for our trip, we cleared our schedules and just spent as much time with the kids as we could.  we live right next to cal poly, so we decided last minute to go watch a baseball game and have hot dogs (gag) for dinner.  it was a sweet time snuggling under blankets with the kids, and sean even caught a fly ball for silas!

lily is one amazing helper around here, always offering to cook us something or clean something.  i had to catch this sweet moment of her peering into the fridge on her tip toes.

the girls (and si, reluctantly) did a little photo shoot for tomorrow’s post.  they are so fun to photograph right now!  and aren’t those dresses so sweet?

curly girl designs are some of my favorite cards and our local paper shop, paper sky, carries all the best.  i stopped in there before our trip and got sean a little card that expresses my feelings better than i ever could.

after 9 days of being away, and nearly missing my flight home (they were closing the door as i ran to it!), i was so happy to get on my last flight to get home to see my kiddos.

while sean stayed back east for a convention, i had this guy as my snuggle partner for a couple days.  and with my sleeping all mixed up i spent lots of extra time in the middle of the night and early mornings just staring at this sweet face.

i missed my kids more than i have on any trip and it has been so good to be back home with them.  the adjustment has been hard, but i think today my internal clock is nearly back on track!

have a happy weekend, friends!

spring stitch market!!!

Stitch Market

i cannot believe the market is happening next week!

if you are local, you know how amazing this market has been over the past 5 or 6 years and this one will surely not disappoint!  we have several new vendors joining many of our amazing past vendors – all with tons of new products to offer you!

as always, we’ll be open thursday afternoon and evening, and again friday morning to afternoon.  so many of our friends have made it a tradition to make stitch market thursdays a girls night out, hitting up farmers market for a bite to eat, then joining us at the stitch market just a block away at grace church.

for those of you who can’t make it thursday night, drop off your kids friday morning at school and head on over!  we’ll have your morning coffee and some snacks to munch on while you do your shopping!

any questions?  feel free to email us at thestitchmarket@gmail.com or visit our blog for more details and the amazing list of vendors!
