what i wore wednesday

wiww banner

welcome to what i wore wednesday!  feel free to link up your fashion posts here, and get tons of inspiration from other amazing women!  i started this linky long ago to simply push myself to get dressed every day.  the act of photographing my daily outfits pushed me out of the sweat-pants-rut and into real clothes.  over the years i have slowly become more comfortable with trying new things, more color, and fun accessories.  if you’re in a lull, join up and see what amazing changes will happen!

we’re on spring break this week and we’ve pretty much stuck around the house.  ok, we’ve hardly left the house at all, which normally i love, but these week we have been going stir CRAZY!  the mornings start out nice, but by 1 pm the natives are restless and bicker non-stop.  i’m going a little crazy.

gingham shirt – forever 21

You are just too cute!! Love how you accessorized the white dress (so crisp and clean looking), and the pink sweater is a great color on you (and it really pops)!

I love both of these outfits! I’m especially digging your Easter outfit. I would have never thought to pair white tights with a white dress but it works! Especially with the gray cardigan and boots!

I always look forward to reading these WIWW posts. You always find the cutest things at F21. I have noticed a couple other blogs that have featured similar things from F21. When I go there, I walk around and find nothing! The last time I went I thought I’d stepped back into the 80’s. lol I know there are apporpriate things there to be found because I’ve witnessed the looks you put together that include F21 pieces. Maybe I am just spending enought time searching the racks?

it can be frustrating there, but i only go if i have a couple hours at least to search. i do try to go with a few key pieces in mind, then tend to find the treasures along the way!

Oh, I am just a tiny bit jealous of some of those lovely sunny pictures! The idea of even not wearing tights right now makes me shiver in Siberian London!

After months of seeing this WIWW “stuff” floating around the bloggerverse, I decided to join in today– and I’m so glad that I did! How fun! I felt like the first time was like a collection of outtakes. Next time I will beg my sweet {yet terribly unartistic} husband to take photos instead of me attempting an iphone in the bedroom mirror. I did bring in a tripod– which was even worse since our bedroom is teeny tiny. HA! It sent me on an adventure for sure. Sunny times. I’ll be back. ;) Happy Wednesday!

I have that exact gingham top – love it! The top looks so cute paired with that coral sweater.
    Great combo!

I really love your first outfit. And I call myself a colourful canvas, Hah! I don’t know, it’s just so soft and easy on the eyes. Like a whisper.

Of course, I love the denim and gingham too. It’s an outfit I would totally wear.

Thanks for hosting What I Wore Wednesday.
