what i wore

welcome to what i wore!  if you ever struggle to find the motivation to get dressed, find some inspiration here!  i used to consider putting on sweats as getting dressed, most days just staying in my jammies.  but once i started posting pics of my daily outfits, i was motivated to put a little extra time into myself.  and the result?  i feel much better about myself!  i have become more confident in my style and enjoy taking little risks and trying new things!  if you are needing some motivation, check out the links below and link up!

i love this shirt (no pun intended!).  it has just the right cut, is light weight, and has a flattering neckline.  i paired this pretty t-shirt with my oldest, softest jeans and simple patent flip flops.  i threw my hair up in a loose bun and tied a silky scarf in a bow to add a little pop of color.

shirt – forever 21

jeans – oooold

flops – payless

gracie b let me choose a dress to share with you, and i chose this beauty!  i love this dress!  its a little shorter than i’d normally wear, but it was so comfortable and the color is amazing!

if you love it too, gracie b wants you to have this same dress for 15% off using the code poppy15 at checkout.

the fabric has sweet tiny flowers on it, so to contrast with the sweetness of the dress, i paired it with a chunky leather cuff and a long chevron necklace, finished off with my newly glittered sandals!

dress – c/o gracie b (i’m wearing a medium)

necklace – noonday collection

cuff – stacy lynn

sandals – revamped by me

i do not wear heels enough.  i feel so uncomfortable in them!  wedges help, but still.  i felt like a giant!  i started the morning at church in a cardigan with my petal pushers pinned on, and took off the sweater as soon as it warmed up.

Love all of these outfits, but that green dress!! So pretty!

  22. 27

Love the Gracie B dress! So cute! I also like the 2 Forever 21 shirts. I have such a hard time finding anything there. It’s so overwhelming. Do you shop at the store or online?

  23. 29

Your outfits are always so darling. I love every single one of them. But I super love that Old Navy dress. Who knew?

Ok….so when you clean out your closet….what do you do with the clothes? I would love to have a hand- me -down bag from you. I love all your clothes. My kids get clothes from friends from time to time and I think….wish I could. Just kidding….actually, i’m not. Love your style. And I tried looking at forever 21 and never see things as cute as you find.

  25. 31

I think my favorite look of yours this week has got to be the stripes with the leopard. So cute! Thanks for hosting again .

    Style of One’s Own

    I love that dress!!!
I just got myself nonmaternity dresses. About that length. When they came in, they’re just above my knee because I’m not blessed with height…. Like u and those models. :)
Yup, I’m pregnant but can’t wait to wear them postpartum. Like next summer…..

  27. 33

I love them all but my favorite is the white shorts and stripe shirt and how you so boldly added an animal print scarf. Never would have thought of that but you pulled it off splendidly.

  28. 34

I adore your third outfit so much! I just got some white shorts from old navy and plan on recreating it. =) I also love that white dress in the last outfit. I must try and find it for myself! You look super gorgeous as always!!

  29. 35

I love all of those looks!! I just got a white lace dress from H&M and the dress with the colorful cardigan and the belt gave me a great idea on ways to wear it!

  30. 36

Thanks for the great linky party every week! Your outfits are always super cute. I particularly love your striped shirt paired with the scarf. Way to have a good eye and spot a treasure in Walmart! Not always easy. ;) ~Devin
