we had guests in the loft this weekend and they brought yummy gifts:  chocolates, candy for the kids, beer for sean, olive oil… so much goodness!

my baby has been sick all week!  it has been nice that he’s been mellower and napped everyday, though ;)

in a moment of feeling better, he decided to spend his time tossing “pop rocks” out onto the patio.  we call them pop rocks (the little “fire works” that you can toss on the ground and they “POP!”).  what do you call them?

again with the napping!  none of us even knew where he was until i peeked in my room.  if we had all been quiet enough i would’ve found him faster because of his crazy loud snoring!

lily set our backyard table for us one night, using the prettiest mismatched set of linens!  she and sean made amazing ceviche with mango and avocado for our dinner!

we replaced our disintegrating hammock with a clearance one from home depot.  its bigger than our last one so our buns rub against the ground when you’re in it.  oops!  we’re working on a fix…

i was so bummed when my favorite drink dispenser rusted out, but really happy when i figured out a way to use it every day now!

i have horrible handwriting.  like sometimes i can’t even read it.  bad.  so when it comes to labeling things, i love to use funky stamps.

those tags i stamped went onto the baskets in my redesigned laundry room.  did you enter to win a $500 Home Depot gift card yet?!

today is my baby’s birthday.  we officially have a 6 year old.  he has to use 2 hands to show how old he is!  we have no more babies who can count their age on one hand.  never again will we have a kindergartener.  they are all just big now.  boo on time passing.

we have a fun weekend planned full of celebrating, bbq’ing, camping, bike riding, s’more eating (and hopefully napping for me!).
