it was a blessing to have my gram with for christmas, but we did miss having my grandma here, too. we are a big gaming family – it must come from my grandmothers! gram said she’s lived her 93 years well due to not smoking and having fun every day!
we’ve really let loose on bedtimes for the last couple weeks so when it was time to tuck si in, it took all of 5 minutes before he was out! i enjoyed a little quiet time with him and some extra snuggles.
taking a break from work has given me extra doses of game time with my kids.
my sister and her family are visiting from Australia, and we took her baby for a few days so they could get some grown-up time away. he was so much fun to love on – i was actually a little sad when his parents got home and i had to give him back :(
this. every day.
we spent new year’s day in yosemite and once again, it did not disappoint. i grew up just over an hour outside of yosemite and it never gets old.
my family was so happy to get to skate twice this season! its so fun to see how much they improve from year to year.
i like to gush about my husband. because he’s my favorite. and he amazes me every day. his gift to me for christmas: a long weekend away in seattle – yay! we’ve been talking about going to seattle for 15 years!
we finished our day in yosemite with a couple hours in the ahwahnee hotel, playing games and drinking warm drinks. the day ended just as i had hoped it would! this boy did awesome for missing his nap and staying up way past his bedtime!
we just have a couple days left before we go home and as much as i am looking forward to being in my own home, reality is going to hit hard!
and don’t forget, today is the last day for my big new years sale!
