a little first aid for the bathroom

kids' bathroom

the kids’ bathroom is a bright little happy place in our home!  i think that may have something to do with the egg yolk wall paint… possibly?

while i loved the bathroom just the way it was, i spotted this red cross at ruby rose and knew i needed to find a place for it in my home.

when i first spotted the red cross, i loved it, but it was a little pricier than i would normally spend ($26, not bad really).  so i left it and thought about it.  and thought about it.  and thought about it.

first thing the next day i went back to pick it up!

i have always wanted a vintage first aid box or medicine cabinet or something for the kids’ bath, but they are so pricey!  this cross packs more punch than an expensive box anyway!

i was a little sad to move my favorite jones design company print, but i found an even better home for it!

i think the red cross was actually made for this spot!

and here is the new home for the jones design company print!  it is the first thing you see when you walk into the bathroom.

for 10 years i’ve had this adorable good housekeeping print in every bathroom we’ve had, but i think its days are nearing an end with me.

this little change has been just enough for me!

I adore this bathroom & the red cross! I too really wanted a vintage cabinet so my lovely hubby finally helped me create one with an industrial one & a custom vinyl from my workplace! Did the trick until I can source/afford the real deal! Love your yellow walls…so cheerfull!
