i love how adorable these pompom flowers are! they spruce up a space, and you don’t have to worry about them dying! but the best part of these is that they are really quick – my kind of project!
supplies \\ pompoms (variety of sizes), wooden skewers and/or thin dowels, glue sticks, glue gun
spread the threads of a pompom to expose a center part. i found that even though i’m showing you the string wrapped center, using the opposite side is actually a little better (you can push the skewer a little further to the center of the pom for more stability).
take your dowel (cut to the desired length) or skewer, add hot glue around the entire tip, about 1/2-3/4″ down. push into the opening you just made in the pompom and squeeze the yarn threads tight against the glue until it dries.
pop in a vase and you’re done!
for a more organic look, try gluing the pons to sticks from your back yard!
