house tour – downstairs {nicole’s home… again}

about 10 years ago, our good friends ricky & nicole moved up to bend, oregon.  we do our best to visit once or twice a year.  we LOVE bend!  it is a beautiful town and has so much to offer!  plus their four kids and our 3 call each other cousins and love to get together.

our friends have built several homes in bend (i’ve blogged about a couple) as ricky is a builder (lucky nicole!).  each one has been amazing, but i have to say, this one is by far my favorite!

there are tons of pictures below, and i think they don’t really need much explanation, so i’ll let the pictures do most of the talking!  by the way, since this is not my home, and nicole is not a blogger, i won’t really be able to provide you with sources – sorry!

    That kitchen! Love the spaces! I can tell some similarities in your taste:) Thanks for sharing:)

  3. 3

    Looks like the 2 of you are decorating kindred spirits! It looks like it would feel a lot like your house!

    This house is GORGEOUS!!!! Such awesome personal touches. I live in Bend and am so curious what part they live in! Not specific, just general area. Most new buildings going up are somewhat cookie cutter on the the inside. She is lucky that her husband is a builder! They did a beautiful job on their home! :)

    That kitchen space is fabulous! Love the brick in there and all the light.

    Any idea where she got her couch/sectional? We are searching for something similar. Thanks!

    I love this space. The brick and niche for the stove (and spices).

    I’m guessing the long expanse of desks is from Ikea. Is it two of the long tops pushed together? I need this for my homeschool area.

      yes, the drawers are from ikea, and i believe the butcher block tops are as well (yes again – 2 pieces pushed together!).
