i love instagram. its my most favorite of all the social media options. maybe its just my feed, but i get to be inspired by some amazing people everyday and get encouraged by real women living real lives.
i also love instagram because its a great diary of sorts to keep track of all the daily happenings in my life, my kids, my home, and work. it just feels happy to me!
we drove up to bend, oregon last week to visit our good family friends, and to snowboard for a few days. it was so much fun!
i kept doing my best to give lily directions for snowboarding, but she did best when i just left her alone and let her ride!
we had fondue one night roasted these amazing rainbow potatoes!
we have a pretty cute crew!
and another day of boarding!
curren is the youngest of 4 and has my heart! he pretty much has everyone’s heart though – all 3 of my kids were pretty much smitten with him and would do whatever he asked!
sean and i were able to get away for a little run, walk, run & talk – it was awesome! well, not the running part so much, but the talking. always good to be alone with him.
nicole’s school room
my kids are big into frozen. i think most all kids are right now. me? i could scream if i hear “let it go” again! but gracie wanted to draw elsa and she did it beautifully!
another house shot because. because.
nicole and i always do some sort of craft project – sewing, painting, anything! this time we were trying to cover a big space on her living room walls so we printed off “its is well” and “with my soul” as engineering prints at staples. then we wanted to add color. water color didn’t work, so we tried chalk pastels. it was fun to play with, but we just couldn’t get a result we liked, so we scrapped the whole thing. it was fun making the mess, though!
the kids all got to have sleepovers, and these sweet little girls STAYED UP UNTIL MIDNIGHT!
and now we’re back home after 2 days of long drives. so nice to sit and relax and have a coffee in the middle of the day.
my parents are here and we got to do fun projects all day long! we came up with lots of fun items for the spring stitch market coming up in a month.
just before the sun went down, we walked around some property for a bit, dreaming of building a barn ;) its fun to dream.
i’m looking forward to the weekend: a quick meeting, more projects, relaxing with the family, and getting chores done before school starts again on monday – its been such a nice spring break!
