what i wore

welcome to “what i wore” at the pleated poppy!  share with me your fashion posts and we can inspire each other!  i started this originally as motivation to get out of my daily uniform of jammies or sweats, but now i am encouraged and held accountable to put a few extra minutes aside for myself and try new things.  i’d love for you to join me!

*sidenote: i’m going to be having a “shop my closet” sale over on instagram on friday!  i’ll be using a special ig account for this, but you can find me at thepleatedpoppy on instagram on friday with all the details!

i have been looking for the perfect pair of neutral/camel colored flats, but since i was going for such a basic pair of shoes i wanted them to have some fun details. i love the flat toe and the little bow.  silas informed me that he “didn’t prefer” these shoes, and then pointed out all the reasons he didn’t like them, which happened to be all the reasons i did!

I love your outfits. They are put together AND look comfortable. For me, as a mom, that’s a combo that’s a necessity. How cool to have your grandmothers charm bracelet from her travels-that’s so special. I really like the blue dress with the brown skinny belt and flats. I wish that I lived on the west coast- I would check out Fred and Betty’s, if that were the case :-). By-the-way I enjoyed seeing via blog post your creative work with the gray window displays at Fred and Betty’s-loved the paper with outfits. I’m a new blog writer. Would you check out my site and subscribe if you like what you see? Thanks for hosting!

I didn’t have some expectations regarding that title, but then the
longer I was amazed. The writer did a excellent job.
I spent a couple of minutes reading and assessing the facts.
Everything is crystal clear and understandable.
